great win. so nice to see guys step up when the team is not complete.

but somehow for some people its again bash the dragic thread

Beno played great but it was clear that lack of wade provided some extra assists on the sheet for udrih.

That's almost as impressive as the blocks.

He actually passed out of a double team on one of them, I'm watching the replay of the game and it's 2:26 am. What's his career high in assists in a game? Can't be more than 3, right?

It was a pass to TJ i believe. Hassan was so far out of the key there was no other alternative. I wonder what he would have done if he was alot closer to the paint. . . .

He kicked it out of the key after he grabbed an oreb a few possessions later. He also threw it out if bounds out of a spinning post move under the basket because he made contact with a defender and threw it to the corner...and no one was there.

We lucky as hell the East hasn't been doing that much better and still are in 5th place with a chance to still be a top 3 team, with what we're going through

He still thought Luol was there but he had moved.

His career high is 2, he tied it.

He almost had 3 if there would have been a player in the corner on the turnover. There's no way he could have seen with everyone in his face, but he threw the ball to the right place. You could see Spo's reaction. That's exactly where Deng or one of the others could have nailed an open 3.

Just saw that King David posted this already two hours ago. Good morning! LOL

It's not luck really. This road trip is running us through 3 of the hardest teams in the league (Golden State 10-0, Clippers 10-0, and Thunder 8-2 in their last ten games). The only game that we let go that we should have won was Utah. A win in Oakland or at Staples would have been an anomaly, but both were possible. We're unlikely to win against the Thunder too, but if we do, the road trip is 3-3 and a huge success. 2-4 would be disappointing. 1-5 or 0-6 was possible.

It all mostly balances out and the last week has been balancing. Check out the last ten games of these teams: (+/- 0.500 is relative to the date played, not currently)

Magic (4-6)

W: Nets (a), Nets (h), Pelicans (h), rockets (h) (1 win against plus 0.500)
L: raptors (h), Wizards (h), pistons (a), cavs (a), Wizards (a), heat (h) (2 losses against sub 0.500)

Pistons (4-6)

W: Nets (h), Boston (a), Magic (h), Wolves (h) (2 wins against plus 0.500 teams)
L: Grizzlies (a), Spurs (h), Pacers (a), Knicks (a), Celtics (h), Hawks (a) (1 loss against sub 0.500)

Heat: (5-5)

W: Nuggets (a), Suns (a), Pacers (h), Wizards (h), Mavericks (h) (2 wins against plus 0.500)
L: Clippers (a), Warriors (a), Jazz (a), Knicks (h), Grizzlies (a) (2 losses against sub 0.500)

Hawks (5-5)

W: pistons (h), knicks (h), rockets (a), 76ers (a), bulls (h) (2 wins against plus 0.500)
L: bucks (a), hornets (a), knicks (h), knicks (a), pacers (a) (3 losses agains sub 0.500)

Bulls: (6-4)

W: 76ers (a), Celtics (h), Bucks (h), Raptors (a), Knicks (h), Pacers (h) (3 wins against plus 0.500)
L: Mavs (h), Bucks (a), Wizards (h), Hawks (a) (2 losses against sub 0.500)

Knicks: (6-4)

W: Celtics (h), Bucks (h), Miami (a), Hawks (a), Hawks (h), Pistons (h) (5 wins over plus 0.500)
L: Nets (a), Spurs (a), Bulls (a), Celtics (a) (1 loss to sub 0.500)

Raptors (7-3)

W: Magic (h), 76ers (a), Wizards (a), Nets (a), Hornets (h), Wizards (h), Bucks (a) (2 wins against plus 0.500)
L: Cavs (a), Bulls (h), Bulls (a)

In the East, aside from the elite Cavaliers, the only teams to outpace us are the Knicks, Raptors, and Bulls in the last 10 games. Both the Wizards (also 5-5) and the Knicks are improving. We caught the Knicks at probably the worst possible time, after beating the Hawks twice and almost knocking off the Spurs. Balancing... because we also caught them at a bad time before.

A lot of posters don't seem to realize that it's not about one player vs another player on the same team. It's about understanding your players strengths and weaknesses and creating your plan around that. If not, everything will be a constant revolving door of chaos.
