Hopefully we'll be the team to give him that 3-year minimum deal next offseason.

And Harden would have to drop at least 15lbs to even reach average, consistent quickness at pg. That would ruin his ability to bump players and finish through contact inside.

I think he will actually be better defensively against point guards. He's a pretty good on ball defender, but off ball hes lazy as hell. I think if he's challenged to just guard the player who will have the ball in their hands most of the time, he will actually do better. He's going to have a strength advantage on almost every starting pg as well. And on the other side of the ball, I don't see how any point guard is going to be able to stop him lol.

With all that said.........you could be right cause Harden is lazy as hell. But, when he's engaged, he's a good on ball defender and this may be the best way to make sure he's involved defensively in a positive way.
