You have to say Mion/JJ vs Blake and JRich.

Why? He already plays with Dion, & JJ.

& im with him. i rather have both Dion, & JJ then Blake.

I'm not the biggest Blake fan, but that's in no way true imo. We have to start building at least a 2nd round team at some point before Goran and Whiteside are washed up. No GM, would make that trade.

Agree to disagree. At this stage in his career Blake is not the same Blake he was 5 years ago. His game is based on athleticism, which he has been losing. Add to that, he has never been a great defender, & now is even worse. On top of that he doent have the range we need so he will clog up the paint. & the biggest problem is that he will cost what both Dion, & JJ will cost, & probably Reed as well.

So its either Blake or all 3 of JJ, Dion, & Reed.

agree with leoshes here. the last thing that the heat need here is another greg oden type of player, though oden had more natural talent than griffin'

We should also build a time machine and draft Jokic and Booker

May I borrow the time machine? I need to run a personal errand in 2004.

rather have babbit starting the 4 for the min than give blake griffin 35mil.

goal is to beat the cavs, not blow our cap space on a poor mans la clippers.

If Pat believes that Blake Griffin > Hassan Whiteside, it won't matter what Whiteside needs.

Pat is not that stupid. Anyone maxing out blake griffin and having him as their number 1 player will not get very far in the playoffs.

As opposed to how far we got with Whiteside/Dragic leading the way?

You build around the best players you can get.

Let's not underrate Blake Griffin. He has his warts, mostly with the recent injuries, but that's still a risk you take. That's still a star quality shot creator in his prime. Spo would do serious work with Blake's scoring and play making abilities.

I'd sign him with the quickness, and worry about the spacing on offense later.

When's the last time a team won the championship because they built around someone? It's all about having great players now. Cousins and Davis complement each other terribly but they're still going to be winning lots of games next season cause they're both great players. If we sign Blake I'm sure we'd at least be a better team than the Clippers without him.

Do you think Pat would want a traditianal PF that doesnt defend in an age of SF's playing PF? Or one of the best rim protecters, & rebounders in the league?

Pat aways loves to start with his center. Kareem, Pat & ZO.

In a perfect world, Durant would be our PF. He would fit perfectly next to Whiteside at PF.

I see alot of you are on the Griffin bandwagon, so how many would want Griffin over JJ, Dion, & Reed? & maybe even Ellington as well? I just want to know because i think half of us want Griffin, & the other half want JJ, Dion, & Reed.

I think this was brought up a few pages back, but the question can't be a 1 vs 3 question (or 4 with Wayne Ray Allengton)

The question is would you rather have Blake + a very cheap SG option + pick 14 being used to replace Weed

So something like:

Blake/Nick Young/Justin Patton or Jarrett Allen vs Dion/JJ/Reed (while being able to still use 14 elsewhere)

I'm not on a GrIffin bandwagon, I'm just of the view that if we're gonna tie up cap long term, let it be in the best players we can get.

We have to make the playoffs 1st before snubbing our nose at allstars.

Remember Charlotte "played us tough" last year and are drafting 11th this one.

These spare parts teams tend to have no set direction or predictability.
