Getting someone like Lillard would be great as long as it doesn't weaken the team to get such a player. No point in getting a big name and being a worse team.
Getting someone like Beal is reckless. It hurts the team's abilities to make moves later, potentially for years, for someone that ain't that good.
Making smaller moves to improve an already title contender is realistic and he'd be happy if that is all that can be accomplished.
Blowing it up ain't happening.
Talked good stuff about Tyler since he's on the team and people throwing his name around as trade bait.

If by "smaller" moves, Pat means someone like Porzingis or some other legit upgrade at the 4 and stuff like that, then yeah

But I still feel we need scoring.
smaller moves means more undrafted and g leaguers. i cant believe you guys cant read between the lines lmao

Portland trying to acquire Bam sure is a great way to get Miami to not go after Dame. Unless you're an MVP level player, all players should have their own price which also means Bam and Butler.

What's going to be funny to me is that Vincent and/or Strus will get overpaid to stay in Miami and I'll still have to hear about all the undrafted players even though it's Miami handing them contracts LIMITING their ability to sign/acquire more talented players.

Even with a great playoffs Vincent still didn't crack a per36 15 ppg rate.

Maybe they need a 3pt shooter to stretch the court with Pop staying!

Fun times fun times. Man oh man. KD definitely would've been the PERFECT fit for some of our current issues.

Heard a whole bunch of NBA national media members talk about Miami doing well because Herro went down. Other players got opportunities and did well in those opportunities (got hot in the playoffs) plus made the defense stronger.
