I think he will move up too. I expect good workouts will put him in the lotto.

The Heat need a do it all SF who has actually SF size rather than SGs (Martin. Highsmith and even Jimmy to a certain degree is more a SG or was most his career) playing the SF/PF position.

I thought he was a PF? Someone mentioned DeAndre Hunter recently (probably in the Hawks game) I was more thinking of someone with that profile. I don't really see the need for a back up C or combo guard (unless it's a elite tier). SF/PG are the biggest needs for a talented player.

Check out some of his tape when you have the time. Hes a fit here if there is one in this draft.

Da Silver size looks legit.

Tbh, I think this is what we need the least. Damn near everyone on the team is a wing. I mean, a do it all SF with SF size is literally Jaquez Jr. Jovic is looking good at the 4. The 1 and 5 have no longer term depth outside of Bam and Rozier. All old players, g leaguers or career journey men. At a certain point we gotta get someone with talent in the pipeline there.

A legit big is my number one need. Another lead guard would be nice.

We currently have a lot of wings:

Butler
Jaime
Duncan
Herro
Caleb
Highsmith
Jovic even

In my perfect world, we draft a productive guard in the first round (McCain, Carter, Kolek) to back up Rozier, and a back up c in the 2nd round (Bona, Holmes, Edey).

I really like Johnny Furphy potential. He has natural talent to be an elite three point shooter. Shows very good feel for his age to get to his spots. Very good frame for his age at 6'9

Kel'el Ware 7'0 210lb Center
15.9 pts, 9.9 rbs, 42.5 3p%, 1.5 ast

Very impressive numbers for the second year big. Not sure he would be available unless there are some unknown off the court issues. Could see him go top 10 easily. And Very reluctant to see Spo give the green light for a big.

Thats why I could see Da Silva being the pick. He fits right into what we do from a big man perspective.

Itd be left field to get Ware. Id love to see what we could do with him though.

Ware has serious motor issues with his coach constantly mentioning having to keep him motivated. Not a good fit here. If we go true big and he’s there it will be Flip but Da Silva I could see impressing the Heat org big time in workouts. He comes off as a 6’9 JJJ with much better range.

Looks like Woodson kept him engaged but it’s something when draft time comes will pop up again
