Their stars showed up, ours didn’t and it’s really just that simple. Our role players played pretty damn good for the most part other than Jovic and we wasted great games from Duncan and Rozier (Roziers best game this season by far) and it’s just unfortunate because tomorrow is an L and we had no business losing this after going up 15.

Rozier though...he was fun to watch and it was good to see him in top form. 27/11/6/1 on 10/17fg with 5 3s and 0 TOs!

Offensively he was damn near flawless tonight. Hes getting more and more comfortable, we need more of this going forward

If you expect a 20yr old big to be a finished product, you’re going to be disappointed. He’s gonna take his lumps, but he’s flashed plenty this season already to suggest he’s going to be a solid player.

Regular season is for development. We’ll be fine. I’m confident against anyone, I’d just prefer to avoid the playin. We can take any of the teams above us in a 7 game series.

Jovic probably won’t play much in the playoffs, but why not build his confidence as a starter and let him develop and grow. He’s not hurting the team, he’s playing well and offers size and shooting at the 4 slot. I’d imagine Caleb gets most of the 4 mins in the postseason, but I’m very content to give Niko run to try and see what’s there. He’s 20, the same age Bam was as a rookie. I firmly believe with a big offseason of development, he’ll be ready for 28+mpg next season and will start to show the leap.

lol, I remember someone saying this months ago. We crap on everyone including Jimmy for having bad games. But with Bam there is always the feeling of treading on eggshells, lest 3ammy takes offense Instead we invent terms like "Goofy Bam" to not make it sound like he's getting called out.

We will play 8 man rotation Rozier/Herro/Robinson/Butler/Martin/JJJ/Love/Bam. 9th will be Highsmith and it wont be every night.

When the Heat lose AND bam doesn’t have a great game the narratives start running wild

Bam can not be great in every single game, Jimmy is not, if you want to deflect blame, Bam has improved as a player throughout the years and is our best defender by far in the team, Jimmy is slipping more and more on defense every year. What worries me is whenever we faced a good team with size ( nuggets ) we get taken out of our game, every quarter is a struggle to keep up. Just think about the teams we had whenever we wont the whole thing, that should give you some insight how far this team is from winning it all, too many holes and disadvantages. Yesterday when the game was close we could not rebound, Bam can do so much, he can not fight two tall guys trying to get the ball.
I did not watch the whole game between celts and Nuggets, but i saw this morning Denver won, and let me tell you, boston this year is a very very solid team, and still lost. I dont think anybody can dethrone Denver this year.
