We play our best when we play with irrational confidence. For the bucks when their star player got hurt we smelled blood in the water and pounced. For the Celtics we saw a coach over his head and pounced, the crazy thing is he learned and grew up on the fly and got his players to win 3 in a row. Had Tatum not gotten hurt the first min of game 7, we have a good chance of Spo joining the ranks of Doc Rivers blowing a 3 - 0 lead.

1 Don't compare the big 3 talent to this team, its blows it out of the water on top end talent at least, which is what gets your through a tough series, when you can lean on 2 perimeter players like Wade & Lebron.
2nd, we don't have the personal to beat the Nuggets, in regards to their style, size, and ability to do everything we do but better and they have a wizard at center that is just one of the best ever. Were not alone, here most teams in the NBA don't have anything to counter them, the only team that can do something is perhaps Boston, because they can potentially outscore them in close tight 7 game series. Unfortunately, we match up better with those teams at the top of the East, like Milwaukee, Boston, Philly, etc, so we can usually dominate up to that point, once we go west, a team like the Nuggets or Clippers would bend us over and take us to the woodshed.

I feel like its a timing thing for us. A lack of functional rhtyhm by many of our players and coach. When we get IT we can really kick some ass. However, there are too many low moments with second guessing a play and building the other teams confidence.

I just don't think we can keep leaning entirely on that formula. Of just out-gritting everybody else and getting hot at the right time.

Truth be told we probably have the talent this year more than any other year. But can't get our starters and key players to stay healthy at the same time enough to develop any continuity.

yeah wade, bosh and lebron lol cant even compare with what we have here. maybe this team will go the east finals again? just maybe but like you i also dont see them beating the nuggets. if the lakers somehow makes it then yeah

I used to believe that we could consistently slow down the Nuggets, turning the game into a half-court style, but their significant size advantage often renders our efforts ineffective. Even if they're not shooting well, their dominance inside the paint prevails.

When facing the Bucks and Celtics, they rely heavily on maintaining an exceptional shooting performance across four games to defeat us. However, when we manage to transition the game into a half-court tempo and decrease the pace, they often struggle and lose mental focus throughout the series.

Ultimately, our usual tactic of mental intimidation against other teams doesn't seem to have the same effect on the Nuggets.
