Miami is shooting 57% to Chicago's 27%.

No at least it sure doesn't sound like it.

He won’t, in reality losing here tonight would actually be the better result as we get a lottery pick. Getting slaughtered by Boston gets us nothing

I think it’s interesting that DezRon is not contributing much thus far because usually he’s a threat when he contributes.

I'd rather see Jovic, Jaquez Jr and even Herro get more playoff experience then jump up a couple of spots in the first round.

Everyone here apparently wants to see our rookies and young players get the playoff experience, regardless of how bad we get destroyed. Even if as a team were going to be coming to playoff often these kids will get the experience, and getting a better pick this year could pay out to be the difference in the upcoming build.

Imagine jumping up to the 1st slot in this draft?! Id trade down from 1 and pick up more assets.

Nah, they did an MRI and he has an MCL sprain.
He's out a month... we'd need to probably make it to ECF to see Jimmy back on the court. That's best case.

There will be plenty of time for that these kids are young, and were usually consistantly there, you also don't garrantee it means anything because 1 or 2 or all three of them could be in a different team next season, so its better to take the immediate thing that can help which is possible getting a difference maker earlier. That you could build into the future, along side Bam, Jovic, JJJ, hell you could be in a position where you make a draft trade and pick for another team like Cleveland taking on Mitchell during draft night.

It’s the blind homerism. Hoping our rooks somehow pull it off lol. They love being the underdog for some strange reason. A lottery pick is 100% better than getting swept by Boston. Either way we have no say in it, gonna enjoy w.e outcome we are dealt

This is what I mean when I say people just have narratives they run with and look to validate, regardless of what happens in the game lol

Heat needs to prepared for DezRon if he decides to show up because heat will lose if they don’t.

It cost way too much to move into the lottery I would go look at what it cost teams, to move 2-4 slots down the lottery. We barely have the assets we need every single one of them.

Using that logic Miami wouldn't have made the finals last year. Why give yourself any chance at all when you can get a back of the lottery pick vs picking at 20 or so. It's like you didn't notice Miami passing up Maxey a couple of years ago, the draft is a crapshoot.

Meh Duncan out. Don’t care what he bring offensively he’s stupid and one of the worst defender in the league

Return to Miami Heat
