Corey Perry spectacular late-season run lifted the Anaheim Ducks into a playoff spot this season.
Wednesday night, he got to lift the Hart Trophy as league MVP.
The Ducks were sitting in 11th place at the end of February, but Perry had 15 goals during March and 19 in the Ducks' last 16 games as Anaheim finished fourth.
He ended up as the league's lone 50-goal scorer and finished third in points with 98. He tied for the league lead with 11 game-winning goals. His line with Ryan Getzlaf and Bobby Ryan combined for 249 points.
Perry edged out Vancouver's Daniel Sedin and Tampa Bay's Martin St. Louis.

Re: Corey Perry wins MVP
MVPerry, congrats to him and well deserved. Now isn't the time to rest on their laurels though, Ducks need to make some moves to give themselves a better shot at the cup next year.
