If you don't know, the saga has finally ended, Phil Kessel has been traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Kess was and will be a helluva player. He was up there with the toughest athletes in Boston, Surviving cancer and still being able to play, that's amazing. Even though he is with a rival team, I wish him the best of luck.
I'll miss ya Kess

Re: The Phil Kessel Appreciation Thread
Kessel will be missed but I am not sad it had to end like this. Kess just wanted money that we didnt want and money he wasnt worth. I wish him the best of luck, but its a business and you cant always get what you want. The leafs over paid him, but hey they are taking a risk.
Bye bye kessy
I think we were better off just ending the saga with him anyways. I am not to upset on the way things worked out. I am almost glad hes gone now, it just bugs me that for a young kid who has been through so much was out for the money. It bugs the hell out of me
