Looking forward to the Draft tonight. Anxious also to see if the Canes work a deal to get Jordan Staal in Carolina to play with his brother Eric. Both Staals, Jeff Skinner and Cam Ward would be a terrific nucleus for the Canes. :D

Draft tonight! Looking for a C at #8. Do they go with another Kitchener player and take Faksa? Or do they get lucky and have someone like Galchenyuk or Grigorenko fall to them? Will be fun to find out!

I find it odd that he only signed a one year deal. He cleary wants to be there and they seem to like him too.

I liked Corvo from his previous stints in Carolina.

Suter and Nash is what we are waiting on now.

Little more depth. 2 year 2 way contract with Chris Terry. He is a 23 year old Forward who led the Charlotte Checkers in pts and assists last season.

Canes sign Zach Boychuk (forward) to get depth. And then extend Jay Harrison (D) for 3 years at $1.5 mil per after he plays this season at $700,000. Good deal for both the Canes and Harrison.

Canes get their wish. Signed Semin to a 1 year $7 mil contract. They wanted him, but only on a 1 year deal. Good get by the Canes.

Canes on the verge of extending Skinner for 6 years. Has one yr left at over $1 mil. The extension is expected to be around an AAV of $5.725 mil. Good for both sides.

The deal is now signed. Very good news.

Looks like a lockout is inevitable right now. Just a couple days left, and the parties are far apart. Crap!
