I had no idea we were getting prime Pat Bev.

So we're going to be able to watch locally on NBA TV. Correct?

If we control the pace, we will control the game. Push Hali left and rebound.

Good question. I don't know what blackout rules apply in the playoffs. I have Ballys but it would suck if this was blacked out locally on NBATV. It's the **** playoffs.

Dame knows the Pacers will throw everything they have at him. I hope to god Doc knows and has a plan for this. The pacers are very athletic but are a dumb, uncoordinated defense. Now its time to get Brook going in the lob gane. Get Bobby in the dunker spot. Get Dame going downhill and distributing. We can put them right back in nightmare land and down big with great effort on D and smart offense.

Awaiting the second game, I thought I'd add some dumbness to this thread.

For some reason yesterday online, I came upon a segment of a panel of Skip Bayless, Paul Pierce and and a football player (can't remember his name).

Bayless said that the reason Dame went off on Sunday was that the Bucks could actually push the ball because Giannis wasn't playing and Dame didn't have to wait for Giannis to get up the court. Giannis, I guess, slows the Bucks down.

Pierce offered no resistance to that mumbo jumbo.

There's guys like Marques Johnson who add value. These guys not only don't add value, they make viewers much dumber.

Ayyyyyyyyyyyyyy, it's the Tony Brothers, time to deadlock the series to insure at least an extra night of ratings and add a dash of intrigue to the mix thaaaaaaaaa's a spicy meatball ayyyyyyyyyyyy.

Everybody on Indiana except Siakam looked tight on Sunday. Maybe their best player is just too young.

Image

Or maybe, although a dangerous team, they're just not built for playoff basketball. Fun fact: the Pacers have lost 10 playoff games in a row. Let's make it 11.

Bucks are trending up, but have lost 6 of their last 8 playoff games.

Feel like this needs to be a big Middleton game. Pacers probably continue to trap Dame and people are going to have to make shots. Wonder of Green will get any minutes after not playing well.

Lots of series left to play but a win here is pretty important, especially concerning Giannis. Little worried the pacers come out blazing but I’m excited to see what changes we see as far a game plan goes on both sides.

If I'm the Pacers, I only double Dame with the guy who's guarding Pat Bev. Otherwise, I see if Dame is locked in again, at least for a while.

Second, the playoffs are not built for a team whose biggest strength, maybe its only strength, is fast break basketball.

National media is so bad. Stephen A, on first take, basically read off the stat sheet when talking bout the bucks vs pacers... said dame was able to "weather the pacer run in the 3rd" and take over to close out the pacers... but then learned two mins later that dame didn't score in the second half, when the pacers made their run, and said "DAME NOT SCORING IN THE 2nd HALF CANNOT HAPPEN" then picked the pacers to win the series. he also said dame needs more help and can't carry the team by himself. mentioned that the "smooth brother" khris middleton had 20 but didn't go into anything else because he didn't watch the game

Jalen Smith had 5 offensive boards in 13 minutes. That can't happen again. Our whole team only had 5.

Am going to Fiserv again today. I hope to come out happy like on Sunday. Dame is our match winning player. If he makes his long distance 3s again, we should win but being consistent with that from one game to another is hard, especially if you are going to be double teamed.

Also the long distance three is his main scoring method although I was impressed by his ability to accelerate past defenders on Sunday. If 3 s don’t fall, he needs I feel to try mid rangers before the Bucks go down big. Khris played a great game of mixing up 2 s and 3s on Sunday.

None of the others is a consistent game changer on offense. And Rick Carlisle vs Doc might be a key today.

Like all of us, I will be so happy if the Bucks win today. Go Bucks!

That'd be a costly move. Bev is a bucket this year. So, go ahead Rick.
