Warriors might be worse than the Bucks at defending the perimeter.

Amazing that Looney is still in the league after all these years and also amazing "all these years" means he is only 27

Sabonis is so good at slapping out potential rebounds instead of trying to grab them when he has no shot

This game is a preview of what could happen to the Bucks. Older, veteran team getting run off the court by a younger, run and gun offence.

I've seen some bad on the floor calls, but wrapping up a guys arms as he is going up for a dunk is a new one

Brian Anderson doing his best to kiss Steph’s ass when GSW is down 20 with five minutes left. Give it up, BA. It’s over.

At least one season too long for the Warriors. Should be doing a franchise reset.

Kerr is super overrated. Tough position though. Ageing veterans competing with young guys. Sticking with klay here is comical.

You are most likely correct. Middleton isn’t as god awful as Klay, though.

I think generally coaching's contribution to success is pretty overrated in the NBA. You need great players to win and it mostly falls on their shoulders. Coaches just need to give them a competent enough game plan.

Ironically, the big exception to this is prob the MJax to Kerr upgrade and what it did for the Warriors.

I mean, coaching is rarely about X's and O's, in the moment, sure, but overwhelmingly coaching is about structure, expectations, and getting buy in from guys who are set for life into a common goal of hard work and sacrifice for the greater good of the team, all while putting individuals in their best position to succeed and grow.

As the Bucks have seen this year, that doesn't grow on trees.

They thought quad during the second game but it appears to be a hammy

Watching these play-in games after watching the Bucks for 6 months and I can say with a pretty decent amount of confidence that the Bucks are a ''play-in'' level team.

Watching the bad habits of the Pelicans and Warriors tonight made me feel like I was watching a Bucks game.

The Pelicans especially remind me of the Bucks in that they have stretches where they play really well and almost look like a contender, but they can't sustain that level of play for more than stretches of a few minutes. They will look like a contender for 3 or 4 minutes, then proceed to look like a 25 win team for 8 or 9 minutes.

Bucks are the same way. The Bucks have stretches where it looks like Giannis & Dame are clicking and the defense looks decent and everything is flowing, but they can't sustain that level of play for more than a few minutes. Then they'll have a stretch of 7 or 8 minutes where they will score 5pts and look completely lost and uninterested defensively.

That's part of what makes play-in teams, play-in teams.

Allergic to consistency.

Those old vets weighed down by 4 championships. As a fan could you really care? Many of us are sitting over here happy with 1 and giving the Bucks a pass these three years.

I think this is a tad harsh on the Bucks. If we have any comp in the West, it's Phoenix. When we're on, we look spectacular, but there are too many nights where we (like Phoenix) don't seem to give a ****. The Pels and Warriors don't have the overall talent that we and Phoenix do.
