Lol Teague. That would be like if we refused to include Larry Sanders in a deal for Chris Paul.

@europa: I'm sure Hawks fans feel the same way, we'd give anyone not named Horford or Teague for him.
@emunney: I'm sure u didn't watch the playoffs, cause Teague went toe to toe against the MVP, next year teams will be begging with the hawks to get Teague.

Haha yeah,it's one thing when homers overrate good players but it's really comical when homers overrate the scrubs on their team.

Teague isn't a scrub, I'd take him over Jennings any day, I can't wait to see Teague light u up, and prove himself to u haters.

I too think Teague would beat rilamann in a game of one on one.

I'll go with Teague's career avg's of 4.2ppg on 42% shooting over 141 games over a couple good playoff games.

Don't get me wrong he had some good games vs the Bulls and maybe he can be an ok bench player but he will never be anything more than that at best.

A good GM can find guys like Teague on the scrap heap.

Those playoffs were a turning point for Teague. And Bench player at best? Man shut up

Had Hinrich not have torn his hamstring Teague would have remained a bench player for the entire playoff run. He showed some excellent shot making ability but did absolutely nothing to indicate he can actually run an offense - what did he average like 4 assists per game in 40mpg for the series? He took a step forward for sure but I wouldn't be expecting any all-star appearances.

I don't think Ibaka has but he's a good player who will get better, so he's a bonus. If I'm trading Bogut I'm only doing it for someone who has a good shot at being a bigger contributor than him. Otherwise this is all just sideways junk and I'd rather keep the guy I've got.

Let's be clear here, Rubio has NO chance at being a superstar. None. Zip. Nada. I don't often stick my neck out on a prospect but I'm more than willing to on him. If he turns into a superstar I'll more than happily eat crap on here about it for the rest of my days.

Williams may have a chance I guess, I honestly don't know enough about him personally, but everything I've read from people I respect tells me that he has exactly no chance of being a superstar, according to most of the experts no one in this draft does including Irving. Experts are often wrong of course, but it sounds as likely that he's a bench guy than a superstar, I expect the truth to end up somewhere in the middle.
Beasley is a headcase. A very talented headcase sure - but the fact that Minny got him for nothing and half their fanbase seem to want him traded now after putting up the numbers he did should probably be telling you something. I don't rate him, obviously if you do then you are going to like this deal more than me.

So let me get this straight...you think James Harden will be a better career player than Derrick Williams? Got it.

Good to know you've read the crystal ball, and that Rubio won't be a superstar. I'm glad we can check that one off.

You think Williams is going to end up a career bench player? Wow. I'm not saying it's a fact, but I have a very strong hunch you have not seen him play (a full game, not on YouTube). That is all.

Minnesota fans don't want to trade Beasley--they're willing to let Beasley go in the right deal because A) they have Wesley Johnson, B) if they stay at #2 they're taking Derrick Williams, whom plays the same position as Beasley (so he says).

They have a glut at the SF/PF position, and Beasley is an expendable asset.

I must say I'm glad you are not the GM of the Bucks with that explanation. Gotta be optimistic sometimes in this league as a GM. That's just straight negative thinking...hovering over the Bucks for the past 20 years. "Rubio won't be anything. His stats, in a completely different game of basketball overseas, are bad. He's hurt, but still. Even though other players have had success, he won't. Derrick Williams is really like Marvin Williams. They have the same last name and both went #2. He will be the same player. Beasley was young and immature, came back to average more PPG than any one single player on the Bucks, but still, he has a lot of tattoos, and smoked pot, he's **** nuts."

LOL, If Herbie and Johnnie would suck it up and rebuild the small market neighbors could really help each other out. Both teams have win now and win later players, and you have potential boom or bust guys in Jennings, Sanders, Rubio, W Johnson, and Beasley.
As some have stated, I also am happy with rebuild, or win now moves....I'm not saying fire Hammond for last summer's mistakes.....but for god sakes realize the team is in no man's land and pick a new direction.

I certainly wouldn't be dancing in the streets or bestowing a bunch of praise on Hammond though.

hey, i got no problem with horford. If the bucks wouldnt have gotten screwed in the lottery that year, he would be a buck, not yi, who isnt even here anymore.

The youtube vid that had that clip is hilarious. It was made before the playoffs last year, with bango taking people out. This was probably the best

I agree with the principle of blowing up this team to build through the lottery, but I'm not so sure about this deal. Sadly, I would give it serious consideration.

How do you NOT accept this deal? We get rid of Salmons, a good back-up PG. I'd say that more than makes up the difference between Smith/Bogut. Then again Smith would probably bolt as soon as he could

Josh Smith isn't on the same planet as Bogut for impact. Horford and him are essentially a wash. I'd probably be Ok doing that in the right scenario, but wouldn't include 10. Bogut and Salmons for Smith and filler is a horrendous trade for Milwaukee.
