When a superstar joins an established contender and that team doesn't have to give up starters (Durant to GS for example) then that team will catapult to the top right away but when teams have to give up multiple starters (Shaq to Miami) then that team will have to either develop young players or add replacement talent which usually takes a year at least. We tried and hoped with MB and Beas but they just didn't have it. AJJ was a Hail Mary.. Now our best hope lies in BP, Bev, AJG and a return of Playoff Pat.. we still have a chance but it's outside at this point. Beating Boston makes it feel like real hope.

I remember heading to the Heat board before our series against thrm last year and the majority of them thought they'd get swept/bounced in the 1st round. Then they went on an epic run and made the finals.

It's been a tough year to be a Bucks fan but they just like the Heat last year could flip that switch.

Realized tonight I have no idea what seed the Bucks are, what the result of this game means, or what other teams are trying to make the playoffs. I'm a true Wake Me For The Playoffs fan.

Not to mention team chemistry and cohesion/established coaching and plays. You think a team can learn 2 different systems in a year on top of it? That's rough. Durant got to go straight to Kerr who had an established system and returning starters. Shaq went to Maimi and I believe Riley came out of an FO position to coach them and establish plays/chemistry which is what Doc had less than a half season to do --- tough to do. Boston had to get KP and Jrue installed but had consistent coaches and plays which is better.

If the organization was smart they'd sit Dame and Khris. I would bank on the Pacers beating Hawks which Keeps Philly out of #5. I'd bank on Cle and NY winning as well. This organization has proven it's not smart though and will likely play Dame and Khris 40 minutes and one of them will end up inured for the first round.

If Dame and Khris can’t play one 40 minute game without getting hurt this team is losing in the first round anyways so who gives a sh*t.

Yeah random message board guys with perfect 20/20 hindsight are way smarter than this organization.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Yea if we’re so concerned that Khris and Dame can’t play high minutes without getting hurt (which honestly is a valid concern, but a different discussion), we aren’t doing anything of importance anyway. We just have to go out and play right now and beat who we have in front of us. If we can’t, then we aren’t good enough.

Anyone know if there is outdoor viewing at the Deer District today? Not the big screen I’m assuming but what about in that alley or one of those bars?

don’t think they usually play regular season games out there but you never know. inside the mecca is always a great place to watch it regardless.

So we want the Bucks to lose today, right? End up playing Orlando in the first round and not Miami/Philly?

It looks like Cleveland's resting a lot of guys. If they lose, they're 4th if I understand the chart correctly.

The Bucks' hindsight may be 20/20 but mine is far better
