It's perfect. Bravo.

I'd probably say more like Rubio minus any shred of dignity on defense.

This is fair. I’ll take the L for the moment. He’s looked awful these first two games.

That's great. I was kind of taking it for granted he'd end up in SA. Pretty cool to wind up in your home state with the talent they have. If he's taking the job, I assume he's got a pretty good idea of what to do with them.

Really wonder if this makes my half-joking Khris/Brook for KD trade idea an actual possibility now.

Can't see Ishbia doing that, nor Bud.

The real question will be how the 2nd apron restricts them. Otherwise Bud will do what he did here. Sign/trade for 2 guys useful in his system. He'll then implement said system, so the Suns have consistency. It's pretty much what we could use right now.

Bud giving me major the one that got away vibes. Sure the Miami series was our huge, ugly blowup on a night out with our friends moment but neither of us were at our best then.

I didn't see the game but the Giddey takes are breaking my heart. Thought he'd be all-star level. MCW? Yikes.

This was my immediate thought. Booker-Grayson-Beal-Durant-Brook is a wet dream of a lineup for Bud's spacing system

Some frontage on Giddey Island has washed away. Dude is only 21 though. Still believe the upside for a Kukoc career is there. But he's got to give a damn playing defense.

The problem is that they have no assets to trade us. (and no, I don't want Nurkic)

Sure, it's still a long shot scenario requiring KD being miffed enough by hiring Bud when that report just a few days ago alluded to him favoring Billups. But like you said, the 2nd apron is basically preventing them from making any moves with this roster right now. Bud has also had significant influence over personnel both here and in Atlanta. No doubt he knows what guys he wants for his system, and Nurkic/Beal just aren't fits there.

Problem is, both those guys have negative trade value. So what's left for them to do? They can use their 1st to dump Nurkic on a rebuilding team, maybe convince Riley to swap more movable salary for Beal once Miami strikes out on their Mitchell pipe dream? Not a lot of options for them.

This is a pretty wild take considering how the first 2-games have gone. Indiana is basically playing at their preferred pace (both games have been shootouts) and yet the Knicks are beating them at their own game.

With OG going down, I just feel like the knicks are running out of bodies. The guys they have are already stretched really thin and punching above their weight.

I agree. I don’t think this series is over by a long shot.

Randle and Robinson are lost.
OG is hobbled, at best.
Brunson is hurting, at best.

They can’t “play their starters more” to make up the short fall.

They have been reliant all playoffs on Uber clutch 4th quarter shooting from questionable shooters.

I love this Knicks team, and want them to destroy Indy, but I think it goes back to NYC 2-2.
Please reconsider your animal consumption.

I still see the Celtics taking the East. Neither the Cavs series nor the ECF will go 6 or 7. The Finals will be interesting though. Minnesota is the team to beat (for now).
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

C's win the East if they can get past Cleveland. Last night's Cav win gave me hope.

Anyone else think "Approaching 8-figures per year" is low?
Spoelstra 8/120m
Kerr 2/35m
Williams 6/78m
Kidd? - Think he was 4/32 but can't find anything new on the extension
Nurse? - $9m per
Pop - $16m per
Doc - 4/40

Sure, he probably doesnt deserve Spoelstra level lifetime contract but he has to be a tier above Kidd and Doc before you consider how desperate of a mess the Suns are
