That's great. I was kind of taking it for granted he'd end up in SA. Pretty cool to wind up in your home state with the talent they have. If he's taking the job, I assume he's got a pretty good idea of what to do with them.

The real question will be how the 2nd apron restricts them. Otherwise Bud will do what he did here. Sign/trade for 2 guys useful in his system. He'll then implement said system, so the Suns have consistency. It's pretty much what we could use right now.

Sure, it's still a long shot scenario requiring KD being miffed enough by hiring Bud when that report just a few days ago alluded to him favoring Billups. But like you said, the 2nd apron is basically preventing them from making any moves with this roster right now. Bud has also had significant influence over personnel both here and in Atlanta. No doubt he knows what guys he wants for his system, and Nurkic/Beal just aren't fits there.

Problem is, both those guys have negative trade value. So what's left for them to do? They can use their 1st to dump Nurkic on a rebuilding team, maybe convince Riley to swap more movable salary for Beal once Miami strikes out on their Mitchell pipe dream? Not a lot of options for them.

This is a pretty wild take considering how the first 2-games have gone. Indiana is basically playing at their preferred pace (both games have been shootouts) and yet the Knicks are beating them at their own game.

With OG going down, I just feel like the knicks are running out of bodies. The guys they have are already stretched really thin and punching above their weight.

I agree. I don’t think this series is over by a long shot.

Randle and Robinson are lost.
OG is hobbled, at best.
Brunson is hurting, at best.

They can’t “play their starters more” to make up the short fall.

They have been reliant all playoffs on Uber clutch 4th quarter shooting from questionable shooters.



I love this Knicks team, and want them to destroy Indy, but I think it goes back to NYC 2-2.

I still see the Celtics taking the East. Neither the Cavs series nor the ECF will go 6 or 7. The Finals will be interesting though. Minnesota is the team to beat (for now).

Sure, he probably doesnt deserve Spoelstra level lifetime contract but he has to be a tier above Kidd and Doc before you consider how desperate of a mess the Suns are
