I am expecting a increase for sure since Milwaukee now has increased county tax since the new year. We will see what they try and charge my lower level seats that I got for a pretty good deal.

Why would they increase prices if sales tax went up? If there was an impact at all, wouldn't prices go down to offset the decreased spending by consumers?

I thought there is sales tax built into the ticket prices but I could be wrong on that. The other train of thought I think is just passing the team’s projected higher cost on to the season holders.

I think my threshold is 10% looking at my numbers. In the games I sold, I’m about 10% median over cost. Average is higher but skewed by 2-3 games. If they jump up 10% or higher, may need to consider if its worth it or not. I do feel for me personally it is getting harder to get down to games with kids activities, life in general, etc.

There is sales tax built into the tickets. With taxes going up, tickets will go up, generally speaking

City sales tax went up a lot. From 5.5% to 7.9%.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Looks like the Alumni Meet & Greet is an event on its own this year (i.e. non game night) and multiple players. I appreciate the 3 week notice for sure and hope to make it down there.

Got an email saying today that renewal prices will be itemized to show ticket price and sales tax due to increase in Milwaukee. Ugh.

Invoices to come out in next couple days. With all the drama I may not want to commit, ha.

Yeah, im in no hurry. There will always be tickets. This market just isnt strong enough to soak up enough of the supply to have me worried.

They are probably regretting delaying this. Even last week, you probably have a few more people auto renew. If we lose to Boston and the renewal email comes out Friday, I could see some declines out of spite.

Agreed. Fans are on edge right now. Lillard honeymoon has worn off too, so they can’t bank on that for ticket sales anymore. Reps may have their work cutout this renewal season.

Invoice has tickets up like 25% lower bowl corner. Like tonight was fun but Celtics rolled over and died and I left at the third. Probably will re-up cause Giannis did but really thinking hard since it doesn't make any logical sense to pay that much up front.

I pulled into my favorite parking lot on 5th and State and it said $55?! When did that happen? It was already after 530pm so was like **** it, go to pay at the station and said $3, and after taking 2 minutes to process my credit card it said thank you and no paper to print. Whatever, it went through it would seem and no one there to ask. Get to car after the game and a nice $100 parking violation ticket. Awesome…

Game outcome was fun though!

UPDATE: They did rectify the situation and waived the fine due to their pay station malfunctioning. Ended up having to pay $55 for the event. It is still crazy that lot is up to that price. More than my game ticket… I LOVE being to my car and back on freeway in minutes but going to have to assess other options. That church lot off Highland has decent access out too but assume is high too as usually was similar to 6th/State.

Same. Mine went up 25-30% as well. I’m going to struggle to renew at that rate. Just feel I will lose my ass on games I can’t attend at the new price. So much for that market study last year and balancing the prices. Ugh.

What is your price / location. My lower bowl corner went up near 50% Paid $4k this year...going up to $6100 next year...INSANE! Section 110 Row 31

Do you mean for a pair? I'm 102 within first 12 rows. I think I was at like $3400? Now $4200 for a single

I’m slightly surprised by the drastic increase to be honest. Mine went up just under 25% to over $4200 for the pair. My figuring is that is approximately $50-51/ticket factoring in 2 preseason games at lesser rate. I just feel it is getting to the point where I can find most games less than that (or in lower level from comparable price) and I don’t have to worry about selling a good chunk of games that I’m likely going to have to sell for under what I paid. I think only a 1/3 of my tickets were over that $100/pair threshold and that was with the Lillard splash excitement. That will be old news come next year. I don’t know….

My rate from year 1 at the Fiserv has gone up 132%, average 22% per year with this new invoice. The smart play is to get out but I oddly feel more connected by having the seats and going to events. Arggggh.

Anyone knows how we can decline the auto renewal? There isn't an option to decline.

If we do nothing, I'm assuming we are not renewing but when the $$$ gets as high it is, I prefer to explicitly decline. I sent a note to my account executive just now but wondering what the others are doing (the ones choosing to decline)

I think you have to reach out to the rep. I’m not aware of any other option. Did you hear back from yours? I should probably send something today too.

Nope, I have not heard back. Went to voice mail and left a message.
I don't see how they can sign us up for next year without us agreeing to the terms and conditions.
