Well denver has a need at PF at the moment and a log jam at SF Chandler/Iggy/Gallo, I wonder why type of incentives they would need for a gooden/chandler swap?

I squandered an asset? Then Hammond taught me well.

fixed. Additional crowd. Possibility to make a move seems to exist. Had asked in other thread but maybe better here. Can anyone comment on...
How is Chandler's defense & offense
How is Gallo's defense?
Do they play Iggy at sg?

Wow, I just saw the wiretap headline:

Drew Gordon Signs With Partizan

...and quickly clicked through thinking it was 'Gooden', with a flicker of a crazy hope that he was pulling a quasi Bison Dele and jumping overseas for some odd reason.

It gave me a sad.

Well we have about 40 days to trade Gooden if we want him gone by training camp. I went from thinking he had to be gone for sure, to hopeful he is gone...

Do any insiders have information that the Bucks are trying to move Gooden?

I believe BuckPack stated that if Ersan was resigned Gooden would likely be gone by the beginning of the season.

Way easier said than done.

eastSide is correct. BuckPack is the only real "insider" info that has been stated about Gooden. THere has been nothing else really. I don't even think Woelful has tossed anything out there. At this point I'm just prepping to have Gooden on the roster, unless there is some activity in like mid/late September before camp starts.

I'm pretty sure the Bucks have at least one open roster spot left, I'm not sure what the market would be for Gooden, but it would probably be taking back something we don't really want. I just don't see him being moved before the season starts. I think the real interesting thing will be how many minutes Skiles actually plays Gooden? With Ersan coming back, I'd pencil him in as the starting pf and playing around 25-30 min's a night, now does that significantly reduce Gooden's role? It should, but with Skiles who knows? Will he continue to play Gooden heavy minutes and let Udoh, Sanders, and now Henson rot on the bench?

A couple ideas

Drew Gooden to Cleveland for Boobie Gibson & Omri Casspi

Drew Gooden and Beno Udrih to New Orleans for Rashard Lewis & Greivis Vasquez

Drew Gooden, Beno Udrih a top 10 protected 1st & future 2nd rounder to Orlando for Al Harrington & Arron Afflalo

Drew Gooden and Larry Sanders to Phoenix for Channing Frye and Markieff Morris

a 3 way idea here

Milwaukee gets: Cole Aldrich, Tyreke Evans
Sacramento gets: Drew Gooden, Lazar Hayward, Reggie Jackson
OKC gets: Jimmer Fredette, Larry Sanders, 2nd round pick from Milwaukee

Edit: took the 1st rounder out of the PHX deal

FWIW the Hornets bought out Rashard and he signed with the Heat.

Oh yeah, that's what I get for just looking at numbers and not using my brain.

I'd definitely trade Drew for Boobie and Casspi. Not sure about the other ones. Definitely would do the 3-way, but I think Sacramento wouldn't, yet I also concede that after that Salmons deal, you have to think Sacramento is a total wildcard.

Nice try but none of the other teams would be even remotely interested IMO

CAVS -wouldn't - have no need for Gooden while gibson is their only vet SG.
NO -can't
ORL -gets hosed big time - harrington >> gooden / Affalo >> beno & 1st-top10
PHX -no way do they do it - Frye > Gooden / Morris >>>> Sanders
3way - we only give gooden & sanders & 2nd - evans alone is worth more

IF we want to move Gooden we have to accept some garbage - hopefully along with someone useful or lesser garbage

PP's Turkglu suggestion seems plausible
I'd make it a 3 way

MIL- gooden 2nd / garcia
ORL - hedo 2nd / gooden
SAC - garcia / hedo

magic saves $5mil overall unless they cut hedo next year then its a wash so they're questionable
kings maybe do it as they need help at SF and clear useless garcia - both have 2 yrs
bucks save 1 yr of salary (gooden 6mil/3yrs - garcia 6mil/2yrs) & balance roster a little with 6'7 SG

it stinks but it clears gooden & saves a few $
