I want to see all 3 pretty bad, though I don't know if I'll find the time to see them all. My priority is probably Wolf, Llewelyn, and then Hustle. Have heard Hustle is a bit disappointing given all the hype. Have heard the opposite for Wolf.

I'd agree with that assessment. I don't think American Hustle is the movie of the year candidate that everyone is making it out to be. It's a good movie though and definitely worth seeing. Jennifer Lawrence is incredible.

Wolf of Wall Street on the other hand is a movie that I think is being severely underrated by critics. I'd say it's the best performance of DiCaprio's career and Jonah Hill is awesome. The movie runs about three hours and two and a half of those hours are non-stop entertainment. If there is one criticism I could make of the movie, it was that it runs a bit long.

Wolf of Wall Street was incredible, probably one of the funniest movies I've seen this year too which I didn't expect.

Anyone watching Almost Human? I finally made time to watch the pilot and found it pretty damn enjoyable. Hoping it keeps that up.

I saw it too and it was the best film I've seen this year.

My brother came in town and he loved Dexter, so i decided to give it a try. I'm about halfway through season one and so far am very conflicted about the show, and if i should spend time going much further.

I like the basic premise of the show a lot and think Michael C. Hall is really good as the lead character. That said, i find some of the acting of the supporting characters/actors and some of the writing to have a bit of a B-Movie feel to it, lessening my enjoyment of the show.

Did anyone else who watched Dexter get the same feel and if so, does it improve as the show progresses through the seasons because like i said, i'm intrigued by the Dexter character, but not really anyone else that much except his sister to a degree?

I just finished season 2 and I'm completely hooked. The character development that they dedicate to each of the supporting characters is something I don't think I've seen before. Very impressive. Dexter is such an intriguing character and he's dynamically all over the place which leads to some great twists. But I agree with above, if you're not fully into by now, maybe it's not your cup of tea.

I'm up on them in that I want one but I can't justify it at their current price point. The Sam's Club near me in Waukesha has one on display and it is absolutely beautiful. The next time I buy a TV it will be 4k but considering I have a 60" LED in my living room and a 46" LED in my bedroom I'm not due just yet.

I noticed on Costco's website they have a 55" 4K tv for only $1,500. I really want to see one in person.

Eventually yes, I don't think they are hitting home markets that soon though.

Series finale of 'Treme' last night, putting a close to my favorite show of all time. Again, a David Simon show goes under-appreciated when it airs.

Disappointed in American Hustle. Good cast but long, tedious movie.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I think it's important to set adequate expectations for that film. It's a very good picture, but subtle. Very high re-watchability, however.

It's no Wolf imo.

The only thing I didn't like about the show was the forced dialogue from the actual musicians and chefs that clearly couldn't act. But everything else, the characters, the stories, the look, the sound...fell in love with it from the beginning and didn't let up for me.

I thought wolf of wall street was one of the most entertaining movies I've ever seen, but I'm still confused as to why Scorsece would work so hard to make an unbelievably douchey/greedy group of real life people look so cool.

I liked American Hustle a lot. Loved how they made the cast not appear larger than life.

I mostly agree. I think the brilliance of AH is in its subtlety while Wall Street IS cool so it works for Wolf. That's just natural. :D

I think the coolness sets for a more dramatic fall, of course.
