Fun fact:
A Monta Ella 3 point attempt is a better shot than a Monta Ella 2 point jumper.
3 point shot: 36.2 Efg%
2 point jumper: 33.8 Efg%
The correct answer is TELL HIM TO STOP PLAYING BASKETBALL.
Is Ellis going to opt out?

It's actually funnier than that, a Monta Ella 3 point shot is also better than his 3-9 foot shot. That's right that 23% 3 ball is his best non layup shot.
HAVE IT ALL.
HAVE IT ALL.

Im pretty sure he tried during the recent Nets game and they ended up getting into a minor shouting match.

i have a hard time understanding monta's side of the argument. 'but they're fun!' ?
and there shouldn't be any back-and-forth about it. he keeps missing, sit him. hopefully redick comes in and starts hitting everything at a high clip and the solution becomes simple.

This kind of reminds me of how sure everyone was that Francisco Rodriguez would decline arbitration last year.
And that scares the ---- out of me.
God, I hate Ellis.

Re: Is Ellis going to opt out?
I don't see any team, save the Bucks, offering Monta more than 3/24. Most GM's will probably view him as a 6th man. 11mil may be too much to leave on the table. Monta certainly can get 2/16 after next season...that's a net gain of 3mil if he opts in.
Monta may very well talk to Josh at season's end and ask him if he'll be signing with Milwaukee for the max that they can offer him. If Josh says yes, opting in may be Monta's best move. Although he may very well use that information to snake oil a more lucrative extension out of the Bucks.
Opting out and Josh Smith not being interested in coming to Milwaukee next year presents the biggest risk for Monta imo...considering what he thinks he's worth. If Smith doesn't come here, I think the Bucks turn away from Monta and focus on re-signing JJ Redick. On the open market, I see Monta getting 3/24 if he's lucky. That's about what he's worth at this stage imo.
