The Milwaukee Bucks host a home playoff game for the first time since April 30th, 2010. Unfortunately, we will be returning home from Miami down 0-2 to the defending champion Heat. Do the Bucks have what it takes to put on a good showing for the home crowd and extend this series past 4 games?

Sector 7 members will be wearing GREEN. Join us in wearing as much green as possible. We don't want people confusing us for Heat fans when people see the crowd on TV!

We'll be at Scooter's on Water at 4:00pm for $1 Miller/Coors/Bud/Schlitz tap pints, $1 rails and free popcorn.
Sector 7 members will be headed to the BC at 5:20pm. Everyone else might stay and have another drink or two if they so choose
Game time is 6:00pm.

Starting at 3:30pm, the Bucks are also having an outdoor "Party On The Plaza" outside the north 4th Street gate that some may be interested in checking out prior to going to Scooters or prior to entering the Bradley Center.

After the game, we'll head back to Scooters for $2 domestic pints of ANY beer they have on tap!

St. Francis - The last time the Bucks had a home playoff game, the Bradley Center's vibe was a white-hot shade of energy. The occupants who filled its 18,717 seats were a few lonely souls shy of total partisanship.

Jerry Stackhouse sang the national anthem. The Bucks needed just one more victory to make the second round. It was as if the electricity from the 2001 run to the Eastern Conference finals had been bottled and set free in the too-often passive building.

But that was three years ago against the Atlanta Hawks, whose following does not extend beyond their city's perimeter highway.

Thursday night, the Dwyane Wade brand will be well-represented in the stands. So will the Ray Allen admirers, who remember after all these years that the future Hall of Famer did not wish to be traded.

And then there is the Miami Heat, which attracts its share of disciples along every stop its big-top embarrassment of riches makes.

So what kind of home reception do the Bucks expect?

"Who knows?" Monta Ellis said Thursday.

If the Bucks could shoot on a level with Ellis' candor, well, they'd probably still be down, 2-0, in a series that, to the Heat, must seem like Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood having their guitars tuned for them before the world-domination tour begins in earnest.

NBA playoff teams typically think about stealing a game on the road.

The Bucks are in a position where they'll have to try to steal one at home.

How that translates into enthusiasm for a team that has lost 10 of its last 12 games should be almost as interesting as which Buck the Heat will allow to score as it methodically goes about its business of shutting the rest of the team down.

"Hopefully it's sold out and loud," Ellis said. "Hopefully they can help us get a win. It makes everything easier."

While no fan has yet to set a screen or score off the pick-and-roll, it's always nice to be appreciated. The people here have consistently demonstrated their support for a worthwhile product and have probably supported the Bucks disproportionally to their bottom line this past decade.

But if there is a player who has earned the fans' admiration with an enthusiasm for his job so vigorous that it occasionally gets him in trouble with the NBA decorum police, it is Larry Sanders.

"I'm so excited, so excited," the excitable forward said before his first home playoff game. "I know our fans will have the building going crazy. It's going to be a sight to see. I can't wait.

"(Crowd support) was definitely an advantage for them down there. Our crowd is wonderful. I can't wait for them to get hyped. I'm just excited. I was thinking about that last night and today. I can't wait to get in there."

Ersan Ilyasova was on the roster for that Game 6 against the Hawks three years ago.

"It was fantastic," he recalled. "The whole atmosphere motivated us even more. The last playoffs was in 2010 and the fans will come out excited, I guess."

After Stackhouse hit those last soulful notes, the Bucks channeled all that energy into an embarrassing 83-69 loss.

"The defending champs are coming in here," Ilyasova said. "It's exciting to defend our home advantage. It's going to be really exciting. The playoffs are all about adjustments."

But that's the problem against Miami. Countering anything the Heat does just makes it angrier. Then it doesn't matter who's in the seats.

"It's a lot coming at you," Sanders said. "Their roster is very dynamic. We have to wear them down like they're wearing us down."
