NFL Draft Ratings More Than Double Bucks Game 3 in Milwaukee

Even though the Packers first round pick wasn't selected until well after the Bucks game ended, the NFL draft still had or more than double the rating in Milwaukee (8.9) than the Bucks game (combined 3.3 on TNT/FSN).

No surprise of course, the game didn't even sell out. But if Kohl is happy with the win now trade at the deadline and banking the receipts from 2 extra home games then I'm happy. In the meantime this team becomes more irrelevant in Milwaukee every minute of every day.

Ratings would have been even lower if the Brewers weren't on the West Coast. Would have been interesting to see which team to get to FS Wisconsin Plus. My guess is the Brewers but the fact that you have to ask that is pathetic.

Not really shocked. Packers are King in this State, and the Bucks series is pretty much determined.

Where do you look this up? I'd be curious to see what the draft ratings in Pittsburgh were vs. the Penguins game, which meant nothing to the standings. I was in a bar here and they only switched to the draft during the intermissions.

I'm trying to think of any other states that have two professional sports teams on complete opposite ends of the spectrum.

With the Packers you have one of the most storied and well run franchises in all of pro sports.While the Bucks as a franchise have pretty much been incompetence and futility personified for the past 20+ years.

Until two years ago, Los Angeles had you covered in one city in one sport.

The Packers weren't very good at all during the 70's and 80's.

The Bucks were great during the 70's and 80's.

On another note,I always thought Lakers vs Clippers as franchises was a great example of how sometimes the whole ''players want to play in bigger markets'' thing is a bit over blown.

LA has always been maybe #1 destination city for free agents and rookies when it was the Lakers but that same LA suddenly became...Milwaukee when it was the Clippers lol.

Sure being in a bigger market helps but I always felt that if the Bucks could put together decent level of consistent success over a few seasons and prove that they are a well run competent franchise,free agents would look at Milwaukee a lot differently.

I personally contributed to that 8.9, I checked the Bucks score on my iPad every 15 minutes or so.

I don't have the exact numbers but Pittsburgh wasn't in the top 10 for the NFL draft (lowest of the top 10 was the Twin Cities at 6.5) and the Penguins have averaged an 11.9 rating (that was in late March but I'd imagine games still get around that number).

I haven't watched more than 10 minutes in the entire series. Didn't even give them a thought on Thursday night.

I honestly havent watched more than one hour of NBA basketball since before the All Star game. The Fiancee and I went to a game and we were forced to watch. Otherwise I can truly say I have watched less than 5 whole Bucks games all year.

I'm not as hardcore as everyone else here but I had no desire to watch any of the Bucks' games so I watched 0 minutes. Miserable franchise.

Yeah... I am just completely uninterested in our Bucks team. It is the worst it has ever been for me as a fan, and I consider myself diehard. I must admit, I have been watching a lot of Warrior basketball though. Even though watching Steph makes me sick to my stomach.
