WHY: Save Our Bucks Meet Up....ALL Participants receive a FREE T-SHIRT!

Come on down to the Loaded Slate on 3rd St & Juneau before the Bucks take on the Bulls at the Bradley Center. All Save Our Bucks supporters attending the game will be rewarded with a FREE T-SHIRT for your support IF you SHOW your support by wearing the t-shirt during the game. We are not sitting together. You are all responsible for getting your own tickets. We do not want you to bring signs or provide Bucks employees ANY reason for hassling you. This is just wearing a Save Our Bucks t-shirt to a game.

Bigkurty made the shirt go national when his wife was pictured with the shirt on at the Phoenix game and tweeted out by an ESPN photog and blogger. Bucks management probably know what it looks like by now, but they have no reason to give you any grief unless you give them one. It's a simple t-shirt with a respectful message.

Be respectful. Be positive. Spread the message in a positive way if you are asked about it and just have a good time and show that you are attending a Bucks game but also supporting a message about trying something different.

BILL MICHAELS & GERY WOELFEL DISCUSS "GET TANKED" NIGHT AT BRADLEY CENTER

Today on 1250 WSSP Bill Michaels had Gery Woelfel on and ....he actually proposes an idea that sounds a lot like half of what we've done/are doing here, but many have not supported it and certainly not supported it in this fashion....Gery starts out by saying "A Bucks official told me we should have a "Get Tanked" night at the Bradley Center one night" .....and then Bill Michaels agrees "Let's have a party down at the Bradley Center, there's a lot of hard feelings about the Bucks and the arena situation. Let's pick a game and just go down and go bananas. "it sucks, we suck, but we'll still support ya"

Here''s the podcast......I felt like it was a pretty seismic shift in how media is thinking about losing and it's a product of accepting what the situation is....but Bill Michaels was trashing us two weeks ago and while he doesn't mention Save Our Bucks specifically, he's talking about having fun while tanking and cheering for losing. It's something that many of the bloggers have repeatedly complained about.

Can't make it to the game, have a lot to do that night. Would love to stop in and buy a t-shirt to wear around town that night, however.

I cant make it, I will be working MBA Remodelers Show at that time. Too bad, it sounds like a great time! I do have my S.O.B. T-shirt though!

Just realized they do "Buy One Get One" with Bucks ticket stub before and after game.

They also have 1/2 off appetizers and cocktail specials during happy hour.

Your Bradley Center ticket stub (Bucks, Marquette, Admirals, concerts, etc.) acts as a Buy One, Get One drink ticket before or after any event. Take advantage and make The Loaded Slate your pre- and post-game headquarters.

Ahh awesome guys, wish I could attend this one and get a shirt... I love that you went with the "Build for the future, not the 8th seed" tagline too, really gets our point across and shows the casual fan and media we aren't just talking about wanting the team to tank this year, then we're happy.

This is true.

But the Bulls just sold Deng for draft picks. Derrick Rose is hurt for the year. Their coach still wants to win this year. Their fan base is torn (see 10 page tanking debate thread) between winning and losing. Their fan base will be invading our stadium.

The difference is the Bulls are talking doing a one year tank job while Rose is hurt so they can go out and pitch Carmelo Anthony in the offseason. They can use tanking and free agency to not have a long rebuild job.

The Bucks only have the draft to replenish their talent.

Both teams are in a state of disarray so I think it helps lend credit to the back drop of what Save Our Bucks is doing.

I think a cooler deisgn would be pretty nice. No offense to the folks behind that shirt, but that design is pretty...bland.

The point of the first design was to be simple and only spread the message of the URL and tagline. And we only had 3 days to get it all done. It's simple and effective as an ESPN photographer has already taken pictures & shared.

We will be opening the floor for ideas for new t-shirts very soon.

No need to be defensive. I wasn't saying that to offend you or criticize your creativity. I understand that it was meant to be simple and straightforward. It's just bland, is all.
