Ha, the problem with that one is that we'd have a good freakout and then a good laugh...but then the next time the rumor pops up it'd be all Lord of the Flies up in here over who caused the bad karma to make it happen!

I will never speak of it again!

Damn. I was actually fearing that we were going into the draft with the cronies.

Until you see the poster who attempted it. To be fair, I put about as much effort into this thread as Larry Drew does coaching or Hammond does attempting to assemble a competent basketball team. 8-)

Or Charles Gardner does writing

That was actually a snippet from the Enlund article for Harris' firing. Hence why I forgot to change one of the Wednesday morning. Could pass as a Gardner or Hunt article though. :)

I would have gone with "Giannis has partially broken foot. Playing on it injured it further. Needs surgery and will be **** down for 12 mos" but to each their own.

Another (unfortunately) believable twist would have been that Hammond was replacing Drew as coach -- with Kohl performing a reverse Mike Dunleavy situation to save some money.

Just imagine stuttering John on the sidelines directing the trash he acquires...and GM'ing that much more towards win now since he'd be the one dealing with them on the court.

The one that got me good back in the day was the "DELFINO OUT FOR SEASON" thread during the Bucks fear the dear run. Perfect timing and execution.
We have Giannis Antetokounmpo and you don't. :naaa:

Seeing the discussion yesterday about who would do this clued me in.

I was a little excited though :)
