Blazers get: Ersan Ilyasova
Pacers get: Jared Dudley, Dorell Wright
Bucks get: Joel Freeland, expiring contracts of Chris Copeland & Luis Scola ($940,946 guaranteed, waive the rest)

That is selling Ilyasova way too low. Freeland is the equivalent of Miroslav at this point and expiring contracts while nice, don't net us any type of value. I think you could still get a 1st for Ersan in the right deal.

Apologies if mentioned already. Minny has a glut of wings now with Wiggins/Brewer/Budinger/Martin/Hummel/Muhammad/Big Dog III and Lavine if he's not a point. Could Big Dog III play the 2? What would it take to get him.

We could probably have him if we took on Barea with our cap space. They don't need any of our players.

I think Bucks mgmt has already told us whats gonna happen. Even with the unexpected addition of Marshall, who will be top PG reserve, I think Kidd continues his enthusiastic experiment of starting Giannis at PG. They’ve said all along that Knight will play SG and Ersan will start at PF. That puts Parker as starter at SF though he’ll get PT at PF. Middleton is 6th man. His best position is clearly SF but can help at both PF & SG. Bayless and Mayo compete for backup SG whoever shoots consistently. It makes sense to trade Zaza alone or with Sessions. There is a log-jam at SG and Dudley is easiest to move (who wants Bayless or Mayo?) and the oldest. Bucks reduce salary and collect minor assets.

A) Zaza –HAWKS- 2nd

B) Sessions –HOU- Capela (or two 2nds)

C) 3 TEAM 3 PLAYER
Dudley –PHL- Moultrie – HOU – Powell(exp), 2nd

ROSTER-age
Sanders-25 / Henson-23 / Capela-20
Ersan-27 / OBryant-21 / Powell-31
Parker-19 / Middleton-23 / Inglis-19
Knight -22 / Bayless-25 / Mayo-26
Giannis-19 / Marshall-23 / Wolters-23

ROTATION-9man -minutes
Sanders-32 / Henson-16
Ersan-30 / Parker-9 / Henson-9
Parker-23 / Middleton-25
Knight-30 / Bayless-12
Giannis-32 / Marshall-22

Bench – Wolters, OBryant, Inglis, Capela, Mayo, Powell,
Mayo is the only one I see complaining but he’ll probably be docile.

The Bucks currently have their own glut of wings: Knight, Middleton, Giannis, Inglis, Dudley, Bayless, Mayo, Jabari.

In my perfect world we trade them a win now wing not named Giannis, Parker, Middleton or Inglis for Little Dog. They could certainly use a stretch 4 with Love gone too.

2 variations of possible zaza/dudley trade

Zaza Dudley -HOUSTON- Gee-exp Powell-exp = saves $ this year & creates more cap space for next.
OR
Zaza Dudley Knight -NEW YORK- Hardaway Bargnani-exp = creates more cap space for next year.

ROSTER-age
Sanders-25 / Henson-23 /powell-30
ersan-27 / obryant-20
Parker-19 / middleton-23 / Inglis-20 / Gee-27
Knight-22 / Bayless-25 / mayo-25
Giannis-19 / Marshall-23 / Wolters-23

Didn't Gee and Powell go to Sacramento?

Both RealGM Trade Checker and the Trade Machine still list them on the Rockets roster and both sites are pretty quick at updating upon transactions.

Seeking a veteran guard depth for their young, retooled bench, the Rockets will acquire guard Jason Terry, a long-time Rockets nemesis from his days with the Mavericks, from the Sacramento Kings, a person with knowledge of the deal confirmed on Sunday.

The Rockets will send guard/forward Alonzo Gee to the Kings in the deal and will also receive a pair of second-round draft picks, including a pick the Kings acquired from the Knicks. Yahoo Sports initially reported the agreement on the deal.

The deal will take several weeks to complete and will include additional non-guaranteed contracts, likely either Josh Powell, Scotty Hopson or both.

Not sure why it will be delayed unless there's a contract that needs to wait to be traded.

Yeah, I'm guessing Sessions is no longer a target for Houston with Terry coming in. Little bit of a bummer, but Houston picked up a couple second rounders.

There is some restriction on Gee, Hopson, and Powell that they can't be traded until after 9/15

Gee and Hopson were just traded to the Rockets on July 15. Since this trade requires their salaries to be aggregated, they have to wait the full two months after the July 15 trade to complete it. I don't think there's any restriction on trading Howell, who they signed as a FA last spring like we did with Wright.

How would Bucks fans feel about Lin, Nash, Randle for Sanders, Ilyasova, Wolters, Sessions S&T? Putting a prospect like Randle with Jabari, Giannis, Knight, & Henson has to be pretty tempting.. Getting out of Sanders' & 'Sova's contracts.. Knight can make the move to SG like they seem to want him to with a solid defender like Lin next to him.

Great tanking move to trade that package for a young high draft pick. Unfortunately though LA drafted a guy that doesn't fit with the guys we have and belongs to the NBA of an era ago.

I'd still make that trade though. Take my chances then on Henson at center and see if Randle can fit in the league somewhere.
