Official #2 Pick Thread - BP says it's down to AW/JP

Post#1 » by ReasonablySober » Fri Jun 20, 2014 9:31 pm

Old thread is 100+ and BP dropped by with an update that we're taking whomever Cleveland doesn't take between Wiggins and Parker.

BP also stated we're looking to acquire another pick, but obviously that party has to be interested in our assets.

I really hope we're not blowing our shot at a top five talent.

I'd like to know, if Clev still takes Embiid, who do the Bucks prefer at this point between Parker and Wiggins?

PG: Kyrie
SG: Waiters
SF: Lebron
PF: Parker
C: Varejao

Not bad for cleveland.

(In all honesty I think Cleveland's gonna get Wiggins and were gonna get Parker. Personally I want Wiggins but you wont hear me complain about something out of our hands)

Give me Wiggins if he is available.

I am fully expecting Jabari to be a Buck in a week, though.

I wonder where Embiid will land. If he gets all the way to Boston or LAL, **** it all. Even if he crumbles to pieces and never plays a meaningful minute, he's an insane EV play at pick 6 or 7.

Reasonablysober, could you make either an option. Between the two I honestly don't care. I think each has tremendous upside and each has bust potential.

I wish I could go back in time 1 year and give myself this update: we drafted an awesome rookie who loves Milwaukee, the team was sold to two awesome billionaires, and now we are trying to decide who we like more for the Bucks -- Wiggins or Parker.

Maybe I don't-- I'd have a damn stroke

You want a fun scenario DB? Hammond acquires another pick while Embiid is still on the board. Hammond proceeds to draft his mystery crush.

I'm to the point where I don't care which one they pick at #2. I don't see how they can fail with either choice.

I want to see what else they can accomplish during the off season with their other picks and/or trades.

Good scorer at 3/4. Might not have the star potential, but a very good contributor. I think he could easily be a Markieff Morris type 6th man.

I was just going to post this. If you had told me in October that we were going to get one of these guys I'd have been thrilled.
