For assists per 48 minutes (minimum of 100 total for the season), Zaza was 4th among center at 4.9 only behind Noah and Gasols.

Damn, nice stat! Zaza appreciates the detective work necessary to dig that up.

Watching games last year, when Miroslav got into the game I thought he played better than what his role ended up being. He played that physical style of Zaza, but at the same time looked like he had a better offensive touch. Add in the fact that he's younger, and I'd say Slav deserves more minutes than Zaza 10/10.

ZaZa is a great locker room presence and let's get real, 2 year 10M total isn't very crippling. This team needs his leadership as our young studs grow up and take overt he reigns. It isn't coincidence fear the deer fell apart the year after Kurt and Stack left the roster and Jennings "assumed" the leadership role.

Kids need to be shown the way to do things off the court, keep the man.

Yep we need our enforcer.

Sanders shouldn't/can't be it for a plethora of reasons.

Yes...

I dont love his contract but I do believe that he's a solid mentor to the younger bigs.... We have to have some veteran presence on the roster.

He's tough, smart, decent player and is a willing passer and I believe that he's a positive influence to our younger players.

Speaking of tough, i remember an interview with him during his 1st tenure with milw regarding guarding Yao.... Absolutely priceless... It went something along the lines of "I want to go against the best" interviewer then kinda said thanks and then he's like "I'M SERIOUS". Anyone remember that?

Kinda tough because I think Miro proved to be a better player overall last year but I think this team needs at least one vet to show the youth how to be a pro. I know we are all about youth and yada yada, but when you have a team that is nothing but young players, it usually doesn't grow up all on it's own. And while I think Miro is the better player at this point, he's not THAT much better that it matters.

Keep him and do whatever you can to get rid of Mayo and Delfino. I really think having a professional vet on the team is key for the young guys.

Pachulia wrote:Well, if Zaza is gone, it's been a good run back on the REALGM Bucks board. I was here back in 04-05 when Zaza was here (as a little 14 year-old), and it was nice to make a return this year.

It is funny, back when Zaza left to Atlanta, the arguments were always Gadzuric vs. Zaza, and much of the preference was towards Zaza as the younger option, and Gadzuric was perceived to be too expensive and was the fifth wheel at the 5.

But now, Zaza is the odd-man out, a worn down vet whose vertical has dropped from 10 inches down to 7, and his career has extended much further than many thought, (almost as far as his protruding brow extends)... Fans here say that it time to let Zaza walk (or trip) out of here. I have noticed that people on the board have gotten a lot funnier over the past 8 years, so that's whatsup.

I really just want to see Zaza in the playoffs again. He is made for the playoffs. His flops and trips may earn him some $$$ in fines, and the announcers may pronounce his name 10 different ways before the second half starts, but he is made for the playoffs. Headbutts and hard fouls and sweat and back acne (bacne) and grunts are what the playoffs need, especially in a soft Eastern conference.

I would love to have Zaza go back to the Hawks and give the minutes there, but it is unlikely. Who knows, maybe some of Giannis athleticism will rub off on Zaza while they're at the club eating prosciutto, and he wil be able to dunk again...

Zaza for life.

he can stay.
id like to move Henson in a trade.
i also like Miroslav alot, and would use him as the #2 center

Sanders - Miroslav - Henson - Zaza
Parker - Ersan - Henson - OBryant - Inglis
Giannis - Parker - Middleton - Delfino
Middleton - Knight - Mayo - Delfino
Knight - Wolters - ?

knight, middleton, giannis, parker, sanders = starters
wolters, ersan, miroslav = rotation

pg?, mayo, henson = play for injuries and/or foul trouble
obryant, inglis, zaza = deep bench, waiting for a trade to happen to get pt
