We made a deal with the devil (Jason Kidd) to finish with the sixth seed instead of the 8th every other year.
But no, it's not easy to go from 15 to wins to 46-47 wins, which is actually what we're on pace for. And on average you're going to improve your pace toward the end of a season with opponents tanking, so we should finish with more like 48. If that was easy to do, it would have been done. I read we were the first team in NBA history to double our previous season's win total before the all-star break.

Dudley didn't sound like he would mind staying here, and he sure sounded like the kind of vet you absolutely want on a team like ours.
I said this a while ago, but I think it bears repeating: I'm not worried at all about having too many good players. Our problem in the past was a logjam of mediocre Marquis Daniels types, not an abundance of productive above average starters. A guy like Inglis is going to have to be pretty good to get minutes for us, and that's not a bad thing at all.
