Apart from certain friends/family ,the only thing I miss from home :D (german basket apart from boring, is the equivalent of church in terms of fun support and game atmosphere) :

I've read enough on here over the years to translate that as "Been living in Milwaukee, however recently I discovered pot."

born and raised 1 hr north of Milwaukee in the boonies. Remember the Bucks first year. Moved to MPLS - great city except they have a nasty disease called the Vikings. One winter I spent a February in Grenada and realized I didn't have to freeze my ass off each winter. I moved to AZ and then to Laguna Beach Cal and now in Carlsbad 1 hr north of San Diego and it is great! IF I want to ski - its only a two hr drive. I will never live any where else - I don't even have an interest in travel anymore except an occassional summer drive up the coast hiway 1 thru Big Sur and up to Mt Shasta in northern cal. Wisconsin's autumn colors are about all I miss.

I'd LOVE to see a game in that type of atmosphere.

Born in Chicago, spent ages five to eighteen in the DC area. Went to college in Milwaukee and have been in Chicago for the last four & 1/2 years. Always spent summers and holidays in Wisconsin. Moving to Los Angeles in September. My heart will always be in Montenegro.

Love Wisconsin sports teams, but I don't know why anyone would live in Wisconsin by choice when Minnesota is right next door. I mean, come on folks. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/carl-gibs ... 37786.html

As long as that money is going to the right places, I'm cool with it. I mostly pay California state taxes, though.

I haven't ruled out Wisconsin permanently as a place I could live. im simply waiting until the state has some full championship level indoor heated golf courses before its back on my radar.

This is one of the biggest things convincing me to maybe leave, I can't stand only being able to golf 5 months out of the year.

I think Wisconsin summers are as close to perfect as you can get, but if I didn't have my current job I'd probably leave. Winter depression is real and a complete motherf*ck.
