Really doesn't remind me of Middleton at all.

Hield reminds me of Middleton. Just built a little differently. Hope he's there in the 2nd.

Give me Jakob Poeltl and one of Wright/Hield and call it a day.

Not saying ur wrong or anything I'm just curious ur opinion cuz I feel like ur a good basketball mind and I'm pretty big on Hunter. His release is a little low for NBA liking and he's not a super athlete but I feel like he's a sneaky athlete and is gonna test out way better than he's portrayed to but his unlimited range is kinda dreamy for this team. If we ended up losing khris this offseason (I pray we don't) but I would personally love to see RJ Hunter as his successor... I like Booker tho as well. I would like either at 17 with my preferences leaning towards Hunter over Booker if my preferred bigs were gone; Myles, Frank, Jakob in that order. Thoughts?

I think Hunter is a chucker more then a scorer or shooter. He's got that Jordan Crawford/Nick Young vibe to me. I really don't like what I've seen of him.

That's a fair assessment. Not saying right or wrong but definitely fair. I personally don't agree but I can dig the Swaggy P comparison. A solid scoring 6th man is a pretty decent 17th pick tho IMO. In all fairness tho what star player for a school like Georgia State isn't going to look like a chucker most nights? I'm not saying Hunter is anything like Steph Curry at Davison but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt for being the best player on his team and not being a PG before I deem him any type of chucker. His shot selection was definitely questionable at times tho so I see ur point. He reminds me of Khash tho, I think that's a good reason I'm so enamored with him.

Ryan harrow was better than RJ hunter this year....by a lot. Jordan Crawford is a good hunter comparison. Scoring ability, range on his J, but weak ball skills and floor game.

I'll update everybody's list once each. I'll post my own update a week before the draft.

You are a gentleman and a scholar for taking on this responsibility. In light of your plan, here's my first pass:

1 Towns
2 Okafor
3 Mudiay
4 Russell
5 Hezonja
6 Winslow
7 Cauley-Stein
8 Porzingis
9 Poeltl
10 Johnson
11 Kaminsky
12 Turner
13 Oubre
14 Dunn
15 Dekker
16 Grant
17 Lyles
18 Booker
19 Portis
20 Looney
21 Jones

*edit* IF the Bucks pick where they fall now - 17? - then it will be the BPA. Conveniently that's probably a big that can slot to Center (Lyles, Poeltl, Kaminsky, Turner) , or a point (Grant, Payne,or Jones). I'm hoping they bundle some combo of Henson & one of the 1sts to move up to grab one of the higher rated C's (WCS?)

Huh? He's plenty athletic. Like to the point of saying he's not athletic couldn't be any further from the truth.

Yeah hezonja is definitely athletic, not sure where that comes from. He's assuredly a plus athlete at the wing. Same with his 'push' shot. His shooting form is picturesque.

The guy I see here that is far too high on most people's boards is WCS. Wouldn't touch him in the top 10, he just isn't that good.

hezonja is croatian. he is a top prospect for european standards
but in no way is he a top 10 draft

additionally he is a big mouth. so i doubt his charactere

yesterday he was shut down in the play off game against Olympiacos
tough defense and he was shut down. You couldn't even realize his was
playing....

Vezenkov is a top prospect but he es under the radar as he does not play
in the euroleague. He dominates the Greek League (which is waeker than the
spanish). So no scout has seen him playing on top level in europe.

This is the reason why no team will waste a top pick on him as he is a big risk.

But in den 15s+ he could turn out to be a Giannis-like pick.
But could also turn out to be a Milicic Pick (OK not that worse :D)

I believe he is a top prospect. But I am not a GM who we be responsible for such a Pick :D

He's the Cypriot Kevin Love. I really like him. Could be an awesome long term replacement for Dudley.

Then I expect Hezonja, at the perfect height for dunk contests, to be in some in the future after he's an NBA star.

The reality is he's not a very good athlete for the NBA. He doesn't play above the rim or display much lateral burst. He over-compensates for modest athleticism by playing hyper-aggressive defensively, but you see that getting him beat on the back door, and he will get penetrated on in the NBA.

You have to peruse the 2nd round mocks to find value internationally in this draft, and I don't feel like doing so at this time.

Those are probably better "above the rim" plays then any college player on your list. He'd be a good athlete anywhere he plays. You're just digging the hole deeper at this point. Don't like him as a prospect, that's fine by me, but don't act like he isn't a good athlete because that just isn't true.

Hezonja is an awesome athlete, I don't understand how anyone can think he's not. He for one is a better athlete than dekker and lots of people on this board believe he's a very good athlete. Hezonja projects as a very good shooter, good ball handler, and very good athlete with the potential to be a good defender and an offensive mismatch. I am concerned about some of the attitude question marks, but he's young and foreign some of the concerns could be overblown. As for as talent and skills go he's a really good prospect. I think he's certainly top 10, and could see a good argument for number 5.

I just didn't see it in the halfcourt in the game videos I saw. For example, where is it in this one? Is he injured or does it just not apply in the halfcourt much?

Dekker was mentioned, and his athleticism shows up on a nightly basis in the halfcourt with beastly drives, dunks off cuts, up and under dunks, putbacks, and usually lockdown d with speed and strength.
