In Kidd (and his assistents) I trust.

Agreed. The part about 9 plus assists gets me really excited. A full offseason should really help.

I'm confused. Is he garbage or is he an asset? Can't really have it both ways.
All posts are my own opinion.

Middleton is a great 2. But he is a natural 3. Allowing him to play half his minutes at 3 would be better for him and for the team. He just got jammed into the 2 because we have so many 3/4s. Need more G depth. IMO.

I have the confidence that if Kidd doesn't think it'll work out they will cut bait and trade him. I'd assume he gets until the trade deadline next season to prove his worth.

I hope with an offseason to get stronger, improve his shot, and watch film with the staff he'll come back much improved.

We would have zero problems finding minutes for a good player of any size.

Peter Vescey at the New York Post reported that the Milwaukee Bucks and Golden State Warriors almost had a deal sending Robin Lopez (who would have been acquired from Phoenix) and Stephen Curry to the Bucks for Andrew Bogut before the Bucks pulled out because of Curry’s ongoing ankle issues

Now he's breaking other dude's ankles.

I know we were aware of this previously but excuse me while I go shoot myself in the face.

Is there really that much of a difference if he plays as the 2 or as the 3?

Those are elite numbers albeit against crappy teams.

Elite numbers? come on.

Here is a list of all the players in the history of the game that have done that over the course of a season:

Michael Jordan (2)
Magic Johnson (2)
Chris Paul

Thats the list. Elite? **** yes.

Kidd should have said 12 assists. You guys would be super pumped!!! He also should have said MCW will average 27 ppg, too. And maybe 8 rebounds. Imagine how much you'd love that!

I hope the Bucks get so good at every other spot that MCW becomes Eric Snow. That I think he can do.

You get players that don't rebound as well as MCW.

Didn't Eric Snow make multiple All-Defensive teams?

If you mean the borderline all star SG Harper was when healthy, no MCW can't be that. If you mean one of the crappiest PGs in the league later in his career, well, even I don't think he'll be that bad.

I don't think you know much about either Eric Snow or Ron Harper.

I think Middleton may be a better 2 than 3. Because he can have constant mismatches in the post as a 2 and can shoot over guys in mid-range. He doesn't provide the best ball-handling for a SG, but hopefully Giannis can be the secondary ball-handler. Bucks need shooting more than ball-handling. I think Middleton at SG really is a great way to force mismatches, especially since he has proved capable of defending the position.

No. He is as our owners said, half of the decision making process. They said they were a team and that they owners would be the deciding factor of the two disagree. Now if you're telling me that they will always override Hammond, then yes I would agree Kidd is GM, but I see no evidence that says Kidd is effectively overruling Hammond.

Can't Hammond have really liked MCW as well? Can't they be a team? Isn't Hammond more skilled at player evaluation, grading the draft, things like that? I think they make a good team actually.

Hammond does like long, rangy type of players.

If the improvements come this offseason (like I expect) the Bucks will have a starting lineup of no one shorter than 6'7". There is not a team in the league that can match that. That becomes an advantage.
