Just wait a few days (centuries), guys. I've been working on my follow-up thread to Cleo's where I give an update of where the players landed in comparison to Cleo's tiers. Just have 859239404890723 more players (40%) to evaluate.

Yes, sign me up on that payroll. I appreciate all the compliments, but at this time, I have no plans for any print publications . For those who would be interested in analyzing defensive play firsthand, I’ll give you ten games to watch for in Okafor, Towns, Kaminsky and Russell. Remember one players “good” could be average to “bad” for another player. A window into madness, now just imagine 2500 plus players with 25 plus games each.

“On ball defense” the Good
Jahlil Okafor
1. 1/11/2015 vs North Carolina State
2. 1/3/2015 vs Boston College
3. 12/31/2014 vs Wofford
4. 3/22/2015 vs San Diego State
5. 3/13/2015 vs Notre Dame

Karl-Anthony Towns
1. 1/20/2015 vs Vanderbilt
2. 3/7/2015 vs Florida
3. 1/13/2015 vs Missouri
4. 11/25/2014 vs Texas-Arlington
5. 11/18/2014 vs Kansas

3. 12/28/2014 vs Buffalo
4. 12/6/2014 vs Marquette
5. 3/14/2015 vs Purdue

D’Angelo Russell

3. 11/14/2014 vs Massachusetts-Lowell

Back to the NBA:

During the past regular season, I have Anthony Davis as the best on ball defender and DeAndre Jordan as the best rotation/help defensive player. I would have voted DeAndre Jordan as the Defensive Player of the Year. Kawhi Leonard is a top five defensive player in this league, but not number one this year in my book.

My playoff grades for the Bucks:
Khris Middleton F
Giannis Antetokounmpo D-
Michael Carter-Williams C
O.J. Mayo C-
John Henson C-
Ersan Illyasova D-
Zaza Pachulia B-
Jerryd Bayless C
Jared Dudley C
*Miles Plumlee C
*Tyler Ennis B+
*Jorge Gutierrez C-
*Johnny O’Bryant B

Most publication would put “incomplete” for Miles Plumlee, Tyler Ennis, Jorge Gutierrez and Johnny O’Bryant, due to the fact that they played very limited minutes. Their grades are skewed, Minnie grades if you will.

Back again to the draft posting:

The Anthony Barber listed twice, was human error on my part, only one player … unlike last year, I believe it was the name Kyle Anderson, one in Delaware and the second (better) player from UCLA.

I must have spent five to ten good minutes looking through my draft notes for “Panko Breaddington”, I couldn’t understand why I couldn’t find his name anywhere, I must be slipping. So I called up my inside source B. Crocker and was told Panko Breaddington covers almost anything…a true defensive presence but also can be flaky and rub off badly in the locker room. He’s toast in this league.
