What would you prefer they do? Given what they accomplished last year without Parker and Zaza at center, it's hard to imagine a scenario where they miss the playoffs even if they do nothing this season.

When would you suggest the Bucks address their desperate need for a big man, rebounding and interior defense then?

What bothers me most about both of these guys is that they're both part time players. Even if they're perfectly healthy, you're probably not filling a lot more than half your C minutes with them. We need two guys and we're going to blow the big man budget on just one. Makes no sense.

+1

I like Chandler but this is pretty much how I see things as well.

Kanter!

Between the two, I'm fairly split. Lopez will age better but I think Tyson is a better player and more likely to be the guy.

They both played more minutes than Zaza did last year, though. I don't know what other realistic options we have and there's no doubt in my mind that Chandler would be a major upgrade for at least a year or two.

Lopez but his contract number is going to be shocking. But whatever.. with the cap exploding no big deal.

Tyson on a 3 year deal with the final year being a team option the expectation that Henson or Yanni will be ready to be the full-time starting Center before his deal is up.

Yeah, true. Don't trust him on a big contract with the day-to-day stuff, but he does have another gear and I do think he'll continue to show up in the playoffs.

Make those $15-18 million per year.

Everybody is getting overpaid tomorrow but maybe not really based on $108mm cap in three years.

There is no way Rolo or Tyson is getting 15-18

Ive always been a big Chandler fan but the rest of this team is young and on the way up and hes going the other way. If they are going all out for a C I hope its someone young that grows with the nucleus thay have. I dont know who is realistically going to sign with the Bucks but Id be happier with a different choice. And at the same time id be happy with eother of these guys because they'd be a nice upgrade.

Aaron It Out wrote:I would take Lopez if we're talking about Robin.

I'm concerned that they might actually go for Robin. Robin would be a big mistake, imo. Brook or Chandler would be fine. Btw, thanks to the Greivis trade, don't we now need Dudley to opt out in order to afford Brook?

Robin for me. And his rebounding numbers really don't do him justice if people think he's bad on the boards.
