"Live Bullet" has always been my favorite live album, but would love to hear other favorites from folks here.

It's weird. I feel like this should have hit me musical pleasure zones: shaggy dog sports story, unfussy production, agreeable low-stakes delivery. And I like Wednesday, too, but I dunno. Maybe this is written too obvious.

There's another song he does about Dan Marino and he refers to him as "Big Dan." Like, was he ever nicknamed Big Dan? That bugs me.

Basically, this sounds like something Dave Berman could have really knocked out the park and like do I really need another reason to miss DCB? I do not. Grief meter is full on that regard.

ETA: Dan Marino's middle name is Constantine? Bad ass.

I needed to type this all out. It's just rambling nonsense that I've tried to workout tonight.

Spoiler:
I'm still dicking around and trying to find the best setup.

I went bluetooth, but then I read that wired gives the best sound so I ran a long output to my home theater. It sounds really, really good. But the issue is it's not often where I can dedicate an input on my receiver to just music. Really it's if I'm just watching sports and don't want to listen to our terrible announcers.

I have a Sonos speaker just sitting here begging to be used, but it's a first gen without bluetooth.

I tried out an Amazon Echo tonight from my bedroom but that's not going to cut it. Sounds like ****.

I spent at least an hour researching the best sounding bluetooth speakers, but I'd want stereo sound, and I have a damn nice home theater setup.

Neither my Jabra Elites or my Airpod Pros would output sound, despite both seeming to connect. Completely baffling. Something has to be going wrong here. But I'm glad it did because it lead me to better solutions.

I've got a pair of WMX's at work and I figure Sony headphones have to work with a Sony turntable, so I'm going to try that out tomorrow. It might not be such a bad thing. Those are great headphones, and I know I'll be able to use the Airpods with my work computer.

Turntable: WMXs and wired connection to the receiver when guests are over or I'm watching sports
PS5/Xbox/Devices: Denon home theater
Bathroom: Sonos
Bedroom: a couple Echos
Kitchen: Google Nest mini
Work computer: AirPods Pro
Home laptop: Bluetooth speakers
iPad/working out: Jabras

I have too much ****.

Definitely need solid speakers for the Bluetooth to sound okay. How did the headphones go?

I picked up another pair of WH-1000XM5s. Very much enjoying the setup now.

Weird to me that Drake is still allowed to beef or assert any claims of superiority when Push buried him in the Earth's molten core six years ago

No new music has stuck with me in months. Don't know what it is - if it's me, or just a dearth of new tracks from my genres of choice. I think the last thing I really listened to was The National's Laugh Track in like...late summer/early fall?

Have you listened to the new Vampire Weekend album?

Haven't listened to the album through yet, but Capricorn fell flat for me. I love VW, but Father of the Bride didn't do it for me and I was super let down coming off of Modern... which I think is a modern indie classic (no pun intended). I miss Rostam.

But I shouldn't hold it against them - good suggestion, I'll listen to it this weekend.

Didn't plan on it but finding myself awake for Couchella and LDR.

Loved "Born to Die" and "Paradise" 10 years ago, hated everything since. But I'll check this set out.
