Who cares how old he is. We can't sign him to more than a four year contract. He's obviously on the upswing. The barrier is price, not age.

Let's not hand out the $40 mil and $60 mil contracts to role-players and fringe starters and instead look at finding the next Crowder, Barton, Withey bargain type contract guys.
Quincy Acy
James Ennis
Ian Clark
Markel Brown
Troy Daniels
^^ I'd take a flier/2-3 year contract for any of those guys over giving 8-figure deals to middling talents like Bazemore, Crabbe, Delly, and Biyombo.

I agree with the concept but don't believe in any of those guys becoming the next Crowder, Barton, etc. Brown could be worth taking a shot due to his potential fit, and wouldn't have to get that good to be worthwhile.

I think TJones has the best shot at being the next Crowder level player/deal value this summer.
I'd look at signing Forbes if he goes undrafted over Troy Daniels.
Jarnell Stokes
Tim Frazier
E'Twaun Moore

I could see the Bucks trading Henson at the draft and acquiring a starting center in free agency or through trade.
We could try Monroe off the bench or deal him if he'd be a problem. Plumlee we can easily resign if we want to either way.
We certainly could draft a center as well but unless we trade up I doubt we would bank on a rookie starting for us.

Terrence Jones would likely fit the roster pretty well. I'm disappointed he got pushed out of his spot in Houston after being a strong X factor for the team.

I'm going to agree that Biyombo is older than his listed age. Probably not significantly older than his listed age, but older for sure. I stand with Max Green
Go Bucks!

Of course De Colo's agent is Geoffroy St. Schwarteaux. Could the Bucks be any more predictable?

Nice catch. I didn't even bother to look. Oh well.
May the Schwartz be with the Bucks.

Is Dewayne Dedmon of the Magic a UFA? If we can find a way to deal Monroe or Henson I think he could be a bargain in rotation with a resigned Plumlee and whoever is left. He played really well against us when he was given the minutes.

From what I've read, Chicago can go up to an estimate of around 6.5 annually to re-sign him. They might have early Bird rights, but I'm not certain. Everything points to them wanting to re-sign him.
I wonder if Hibbert could be a value contract?

Bring in Nando De Colo and Terrance Jones, and I'd be pretty happy.

I think we will need to overpay for De Colo since he is a RFA. Jones would be a solid addition if the price is right ($7-9MM per). I also wouldn't mind Jones' former teammate Motiejunas if his back checks out.

If people complain about Moose being a dinosaur they are going to slit their wrists seeing Hibbert on this team.
If I am reading this right, his on / off numbers this year
O Rating on/off 97/105
Opp O Rating on/off 115/108
He dialed in until he got paid and just seems like a shell ever since.

Whats an overpay for De Colo though realistically? Honestly i have no idea. I guess euroleague mvp probably bumps his price up. 46% from three certainly is a nice looking number though.

As he never really got a chance to play with the Spurs and the Raptors, I'd say the Nuggets and the Bucks are the most likely destinations for De Colo. He just had a tremendous year in Europe with a nice salary, he won't come in the NBA to warm the bench.
I think he would fit nicely with the Bucks, he has a tremendous bball IQ and is a great shooter. Not a great 1vs1 defender (lacks length), but Middleton can cover the opposite scorer.

I would say we have to pay him more than the mid level exception to get the Raptors to not match. My guess would be 3yrs/$21-24MM would get it done.
