I'll throw in an extra prediction: Rashad Vaughan won't be on the roster by the end of draft night

I'd love to predict a trade but who knows so:

10) Jakob Poeltl- Obvious pick is obvious. BPA and a need especially after we move on from Monroe

36) Dejounte Murray- Won't shock me if he falls. Guards who can't shoot aren't en vogue at the moment.

38) Caris Levert- Take a chance on maybe the next Middleton.

I'm curious to see him taken in the 2nd, just for the intrigue, but all this #10 stuff is way off base in my mind.

Yi was just as raw as Maker and we took him #6 in a loaded draft. There have been numerous raw projects that have been taken in the top 10, usually from Europe.

I agree with your point but there are more than enough examples of raw talent getting drafted in the lottery to justify a Maker selection.

If you are in fact a Thon supporter, using Yi as a justification for taking a player as raw as him that high is a strange choice.

Kay Felder would be a dream come true.

Screw it. I wasn't Sani Sakakain in the second round. The Palesinian Brow. He is the next Draymond Green. Only 27 years old too!

I want nothing to do with Maker. I am just pointing out that every year there is at least 1 super-raw prospect that gets taken in the lottery. I think those guys bust out far more often than pan out.

For every Dirk there is a Yi and Darko.

That is a good one. Imagine going into the 2017 season where we have zero players from trades/draft from the prior offseason. Could be a real possibility.

In Hammonds and Kidd we trust.

Trader John goes nuts:

Trade 10 to Denver for 15/19
Go full Sparty and take Davis at 15 and Valentine at 19

Trade 36 and 38 to move up into back end of first round
Draft Thon

I think Bucks use #10 and Monroe to move up and take one of the guards.

10: Murray
36: Cordinier
38: trade for cash

Two more predictions:

Hammond says both players, in addition to be great basketball players, are exceptional young men

Hammond also says Cordinier graded out as a 1st rounder on their board

As much as I love Kay (I saw him play in person multiple times), good luck convincing Kidd to work with a 5'9 PG. I think GPII is a much more likely scenario, although I would personally love us to roll the dice on Washpun from UNI.

24/9 speaks for itself. Felder is a freak of nature 5'9" PG though. GP2 would be alright too I guess. Much rather have Felder. I like the Colombia kid we worked out too, Maddo Lo? (Spelling).

Yeah I'm skeptical and optimistic about Valentine if that's even possible lol. I guess I worried about his knee(s) problem but I'd feel comfortable that if we actually do draft him tonight at 10, that that means he checked out and his ready to go with no long term flags to worry about. I'd be good with Baldwin too, I've been a fan. I think either 1 is a good fit with Giannis running point although no way DZV can guard NBA PGs.

Felder really would be a dream. He's such a freak of nature. I could see him panning out as the little big guy that makes it.

Valentine is who I think we take, Felder was more a shot in the dark but who I want at 36 more than who I really think we'll pick. I watched video on Kay right before I posted and was super hyped up on him lol.

This is going to be an interesting draft. I think Hammond wants to find a way to get Thon and Dejounte. I think our analytics guys and Zanik are probably screaming Poeltl, Davis, etc, and Jason idk Jaylen Brown and Glove JR? So I think that it depends if Hammond can move Monroe and the return that trader John gets. If we stand pat at #10 I'm thinking we'll take the guy that our analytics gurus like and then Hammond will go to work trying to package our seconds to move up for a late first and with all the teams that are looking to move their picks to sign FAs I don't think that will be difficult, at which point if we take a big at #10 we go for a guard with the other pick.

For the sake of simplicity though I'll go

#10. Davis
#36. Onuaku
#38. Cordinier
Shoot, Move, and Communicate...
