I posted in the Cavs trade thread to please take delly back. Some clev fan said delly for shumpert straight up. It saves us a year of contract too. I told him I'll call my GM you call yours.

We had I think 2-3 possessions that quarter that resulted in shot clock violations. Giannis shot the ball because he felt he had to. Ya maybe drive and draw a foul but he made a decision. He tried to win he was our best player that game. I look on the court and see no one I'd rather have shoot that shot. Mids sucked that game.

I can see your logic. However, disagree some with the last part where Giannis taking the three is the best option. Giannis is a bad man, but threes aren't his thing yet. Especially in the clutch.... Terry, Delly, Telly, Thon, even crappy Kris has a better shot at hitting that. I can't hate too hard on him taking it because He was the biggest reason we were in the game, basically his game to lose. He shouldn't have been put in position to have to take it.

On the bright side, Giannis was probably p!$$@# and likely stayed after for 10 hrs practicing his three ball, so in the end, it may have been for the better.

I want him to shot those shots so he doesn't become afraid to take risks and try to win the game for us. I want him to never hesitate and be scared to miss.

I agree in part again. Ideally, you want the ball in the hands of your star player, You want him to gain experience in the crunch time to handle the pressure, but Giannis wasn't hitting the three and shoots .280 from the three... just not putting him in position to succeed... If he was feeling it from the three all game and shot it well, so be it. Giannis has been very hesitant from the three as of late..He only took 2 threes up until that point and missed them both.

I just think Snell, Delly, Thon.... would have been better options to tie it up.

To help your point though, there was a game against the Pelicans this season were Giannis was 0 for 5 and drained a three to put the Bucks up by 5 with less than 2 min.

So in the summer we were saying this teams needs shooters and couple of 3&D guys. We got them.
Then we said Giannis has a weakness in closing games against set defenses, and also corner 3s are killing us because our scheme is weird, and it would be great if Khris came back to help with both. He came back.
We said our Cs are weak, we need upgrades. Then Moose showed up big time, Thon started showing up a little, and Henson/Hawes moved to the 3rd string where they belong. We're still not good at C but it's not such a massive liability anymore.
Then we said fast PGs are torching us because Brogs/Delly can't stay in front of them, we need a defensive specialist off the bench. We got one.

There are no more excuses, this team should be able to compete, it's a good team.
Pretty much the only great weakness left is the coach LOL
I'll give them a pass this year if they get swept in the POs, because they don't have any clue about POs.
But next year I have expectations :)

That might stick.

Easy Tiger, KG stalks these threads. You can run but you can't hide.

Thon has many years to mature. He's 19... err...

But really, he is a neophyte to NBA ball. He's going to improve on the boards with muscle and experience. Motor is there. Remember he's been playing against high school kids from Canada and Australia for the last 8 years there is going to be a huge adjustment that will take time there. It's a little different than a corner 3.
Khris Middleton - Beating up on Trash Can Teams since 1943. Invisible Man status otherwise.
