And now Kidd probably has more influence in the front office than he's ever had....

#3, a Lakers 1st and a Kings 1st. Yeah, I'm not sure we're talking moosecock here.

That is an absolute ton. Unbelievable for Ainge. Believable for Colangelo. 2 spots where the differences are kind of negligible and beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

What's the protection on these picks? I'm guessing nothing crazy. This is very bad news for the Eastern conference.

This seems like a great deal for Boston but what are the protections? Both of these teams are on the right track. In a couple years, the East will be like the 80's all over again with Boston, Philly, and Milwaukee on top.

It's actually only #3 and one of those other picks. Lakers if it falls between 2-5, Kings if the Lakers pick falls outside of that. No clue what Danny was thinking with this trade.

Looks like a great deal for both teams. If Boston truly wasn't sold on Fultz this pretty much guarantees 2 top 6 picks next season with an additional future pick from Philly. Kinda of a no brainer if they didn't really want Fultz

SAS criticizing Hinkie for having the Sixers throw away seasons while not acknowledging how the Sixers had enough assets to trade up to #1.

For real, this post better get 50 And 1s at minimum. Hilarious.

Boston really outsmarted themselves with this one. You have the #1 pick in the draft, take the BPA. IT, Bradley, Smart and Rozier aren't guys who are going to stop me from taking a guard if he is the best player in the draft. It looked like a decent haul at first glance when it was reported to include the Lakers and Sac picks no protections, but now that it most likely is just the 19 Kings pick (odds of Lakers being 2-5 is ridiculous) and #3 I really have no clue what Ainge was thinking. Kings are trending upward and have two high picks this year. Terrible haul to give up the #1 pick for.

First we have Ibaka and Norm Powell flush us out of the playoffs.

Now the Lakers pick gets flipped to get #1 overall.

I'm sure Horst will fix all this.

In Woj's article it says the Lakers pick is protected 2-5... I thought the pick was unprotected? He says if it doesn't convey it becomes the 2019 Kings pick.

You can adjust protection in the new CBA.
