The Bucks radio guy is not good.

He consistently misses plays while trying to elaborate on a previous play.

Just call the game.

And boom goes the dynamite.

I don't have an antenna so I can't watch the game. Can someone explain what the benefit is to NBA TV to black out the game locally?

Or is it the local market blacking it out?

It's the NBA being terrible at making their product available to the people who want to watch it.

The Slam photo shoot with Des Mason at a Milwaukee playground was so dope.

I think that was the first time we saw those throwback jerseys, too.

Slam was an awesome mag.

Doyel's had a long and prominent career, usually not my cup of tea, but I know he's come down on the good side a number of times in high profile situations.

It's wild that he's only going to be known as the creepy Caitlin Clark guy from now on.

When someone asks me about Greggggg Doyel and why he got suspended and it takes me a second to process who they're talking about and then I suddenly remember that's when I say "Oh? Doyle? Rules" feel free to use no big deal, just getting some posts up in the offseason over here.

Just listened to the Hear District episode with Brad Jennings. I'll tell you what, you could do a whole lot worse by switching out Novak for BJ3. I think the dude is gifted on the mic.

It would be really fun to have Jennings more involved with broadcasts.

I think people over glorify a local broadcast job. You have to travel for 45+ road games (Preseason+Playoffs) every year, work a crap ton of friday/saturday nights, call a bunch of load management games, and probably get a talking to any time you make a valid criticism on effort or strategy. Even MJ has gotten worse as his edge as been taken off and novelty of his old-time stories has gone away.

ETA: I can't imagine the pay is that great compare to what they are used to? Any guesses? $150k? Jennings would be an interesting guy to understand his finances, but dude made $40m. Half goes to taxes/agent. So $20m, say he spent 75% of it? $5m has a safe withdrawal rate of $200k a year, which is a lot unless you are used to flying everywhere and eating out at fancy restaurants.

I think Novak is locked into the permanent gig when Marques retires. Born here, went to Marquette. I'll have to try to sync up the radio stream.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

All of us after the first season Novak takes over the full-time gig.
