St. Mary's lost by 9
Wisconsin lost by 11
Texas Tech lost by 13
South Carolina lost by 14.

This is a normal thing that happens in the tournament

The only thing in common with those four teams is that they lost. How you lose matters.

I've been watching the tournament for as long a as I can remember, and I don't need a lesson in normal things that happen in it. If you're cool with this caliber of tournament team, then cool.

I mean same, I think we all watch basketball a ton and we all know upsets happen all the time in the NCAA tourney. None of these 4 games were particularly close. Take St. Mary's for example, they were down double digits essentially the whole 2nd half, made a run to make it somewhat close and then fell back behind which is essentially what happened to Wisconsin. When you take Fandom out of analyzing games it's easy to see Wisconsin is not alone. Again though, if all a fan cares about is the tournament then Gard absolutely should go, I'm not defending his tournament resume, I just think the regular season matters and he's had alot of Regular season success, more than most coaches.

Pretty insane streak of consistency. Them joining the Big 12 would make that conference even more insane in basketball.

Lots of guys can shoot. It's cool, Gohlke's from Wisconsin. Fine.

DJ Burns is 3-bills and makes no-look touch passes and shoots sky hooks. Gimme NC State all day here!

FAU's Dusty May is the new UM coach. I hate that I think it's a great hire.

Not sure I really get the logic of their scheduling today and tomorrow. Two solo games including down time in between and after. Then play 3-4 at the same time overlapping.

I had Creighton, but man, Cousinard and Dante were insane. Almost had me pulling for them. It was 2v5.

Does Wally Sczerbiak get older or does he just get uglier?

What a letdown of a 2nd round in the tourney. Only double digit seed to get to the Sweet 16 is a power conference team, every single 1 & 2 seed advanced. We were due for a letdown tourney though as the last few have been incredible
