There’s the randomness of the tournament.

Completely competent 5-seed pulls one massive upset and then hangs on in close games against equal/inferior draws and makes the title.

UConn was legit, though. A 1-seed disguised as a 4 due to the mid season swoon.

UConn’s deal with the devil to just win tournament championships will other blueblood programs put up 3x the good seasons with only 1-2 titles in 25 years is something to be hold.

I get the appeal of following your school, and one and done can be exciting, but as a casual viewer I just find college ball really hard to watch. Every year I tell myself I'm going to get more into the tournament but I just can't.

Lets be real this was probably the best week for womens hoops in like two decades. I think Angel shoulda 1uped the Cena and dropped the suck it right in her face. If LSU and Iowa are in a primtime matchup next season its a huge fail.

LSU's coach is tremendous though, winning is fun and i bet LSU fan dont care about her antics.

Because it was embarrassing. I'm not defending Clark either. Some of her antics like waving her hand at the girl from SC was annoying as well. But Clark does it during the game. When the game is done, she's all class. Clark did the Cena for 2 seconds towards her own bench against Lousiville.

Reese followed Clark around for 11 seconds, up 15. Clark didnt even talk trash at all that game. Imagine being 11 seconds from a national title and taking that time to follow around the other teams best player just to taunt her. She has unfortunately made this championship all about her and instead of talking about what a great run this was for WCBB, all they can talk about is Reese and her antics.

Again, embarrassing.

Might not have been how I'd choose to enjoy the coolest moment of my life, but I would guess there's some context/history between the two of them that would inform the opinion I don't currently have.

I feel like Clark getting asked about it and her saying it warrants no criticism should probably end the discussion. But it won't.

Holy hell did Bob Huggins end his career in spectacularly awful fashion.

I mean he wasn't even going to be drafted, was he? He has no NBA future; might as well.

Lock him in a gym, teach him to shoot.

I think he'll have a role in the NBA, even if it's extremely limited.

WVU response. Big PER MY LAST EMAIL vibes.

"Notwithstanding any response, and in no uncertain terms, the University will not accept Mr. Huggins' revocation of his resignation, nor will it reinstate him as head coach of the men's basketball program," Taylor's letter read. "Moreover, if Mr. Huggins or his counsel attempts to publicly suggest that he somehow did not resign and retire from his position, please be advised that the University will swiftly and aggressively defend itself from these spurious allegations."

What a wild situation.

Bumping for Panther Hoops starting soon. BJ Freeman is back and from what ive heard worked hard this offseason. I know for sure he got offered big NIL money from some P5 schools but decided to stay. Could be the year they get back to the dance. Would be nice to get 3 Wisconsin teams back in the dance.

I've just never hated Kansas as much as I do now that they have Hunter Dickinson. Truthfully, I don't (and kinda feel like I can't) normally hate Kansas; in-laws are from there and they aren't annoying about it at all. I want them to do well, generally. But ****, Dickinson is an entire douchedumpster.

Crap start for my Panthers this year just got worse with apparent injury to BJ Freeman, likely out atleast a month. Good thing only like 3 or 4 games actually matter for us.

So are Bronny James/USC going to be the new Prime/Colorado? I get that its great he came back from his heart issue, but he doesn't even start.

He looked great to me, though. Not ready to make a call on whether he's Jrue or Zhaire Smith at this point.
