Went and saw Civil War. Was hoping for something on the level of Red Dawn but it was basically about the War Photo Journalists. It was ok for what it was but had hoped for more.

Hundreds of Beavers is a movie experience. I cannot describe it, but it hit my funny in the exact correct way

I know people involved with that. Solid crew. Still haven't seen it.

I liked "Civil War" but it feels somewhat like a missed opportunity. I'd put it above "Men" but below Alex Garland's first two films. I could see it revealing some stuff on a rewatch, though. I thought the music choice of most of the needle drops was very bizarre and took me out of the movie a couple times.

Love Linklater and becoming a big Glen Powell fan. This should be good.

The rumor is this is set in the Unbreakable universe, so who knows what weird twists and goofiness we're going to get lol.

I just saw Thelma (2024) at the Film Festival last night and it was hilarious and heart felt. Just a wonderful movie.

Shogun's penultimate episode might be the best 60-minutes of television I'll see all year, and maybe even the past several years. I honestly don't know how they're going to top it.

So good. I've struggled to keep up with what's going on at times, not sure if it's the captions or vast amount of characters that takes time to get familiar with or if I am just stupid. Going to have to re-watch the season I think but yeah, this episode was amazing.

I was a little surprised

Spoiler:
that "Crimson Sky" that they've been building up to (and it's the episode title) was not some all out attack/war. Not a complaint at all, the scheming and plotting is more fun than just pure action. Toranga is genius level schemer. Also crazy that Mariko faced death 3 different times within like 15 minutes of the episode and each time felt tense. The scene where she fought all those dudes to prove to everyone else that they were hostages that would be detained by force was so good.

What a great episode! Can't wait for the next one , but in the same breath it will be a bummer being that its the last.

I love Sci Fi, I think Stargate SG1 is way underrated. Based on a True story was really well done.

Lastly, if you like reality TV, Traitors is fantastic. Right behind Amazing Race and Survivor for me.

If you guys never got around to Killing Eve it’s on Netflix.

Gets a little campy towards the end but the first two seasons rock and Comer is amazing.

As bad as this looks, I’ll give MNS so credit for trying things. It’s not based on an IP so I’ll watch it
