It doesn't look as bad as I was anticipating, but I still don't know about this one...

Masters of the Air ended up being sorta the inverse of Band of Brothers for me. Masters started slow but got progressively better and ended extremely strong. Good show.

Never heard of a Tom Hardy movie called Warrior from 2011? Enjoying the hell out of it like a UFC version of Real Steel

Really good movie. The three main performances are all great. One of those movies where you know exactly how everything is going to play out but it's done so well it doesn't matter.

The documentary that goes along with it, "The Bloody Hundredth" is good too.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Just finished Masters of the Air. An incredible 8-9 hours of television. It's hard for me to ever put anything up there with Band of Brothers, but I think it deserves to be in the same discussion. The finale had me all up in my feels.

Holy SH*T now this is how you make a teaser trailer. Utterly terrifying.

Scott will always be the father of modern science fiction film to me, but Covenant was pretty disappointing, so this looks like a much needed pivot in the right direction. I'm pumped.

Smart for the series to get back to its horror roots I think. But also I am [finally] feeling kind of done with all these perennially resuscitated franchises, so unless everybody says this is great, I probably won't **** with it.

When I finished Masters of the Air last week I decided to rewatch The Pacific and Band of Brothers. Both I hadn't seen since they were originally aired (2010 and 2000). I'd rank them:
1. The Pacific
1b. Masters of the Air
3. Band of Brothers

All great but I'd give the nod to The Pacific.

Think I'm going to get Apple again soon, maybe after the tourney to watch this with the good reviews. Hopefully it is as good as you all are saying.

Surprised to see people putting Pacific over the original. Not that it also wasn't good but BoB was just perfect. Though I haven't rewatched Pacific like I have Bob, my biggest critique was so many of the main characters looked so similar so it was hard to keep straight.
Resident Lillard truther since 2015.

I was a little disappointed in the Pacific after reading the book. I’d have Band of Brothers first, then Pacific, and then Masters. Masters was good overall but it dragged a lot and then skipped ahead on some stuff.

Watching Aquaman 2 and WTF? It’s like someone watched the worst parts of Love & Thunder and Black Panther 2 and said gimme that but with Aquaman and top it off with some version of a JarJar Binks that looks like a giant crab

Just saw the teaser for Alien Romulus and I have a raging clue rn. That horde of face huggers, oof lol

I want so badly for there to be another truly great Alien movie and Fede Alvarez seems to truly get the vibe, cinematography, etc that makes all of it work. The echo-y sounds, the technology of the ship, etc so reminiscent of the OG movie. I liked Don't Breathe a lot so I'm optimistic he knows what he's doing.

Side note: **** IGN forever for that garbage review of Alien: Isolation, we need another Alien game, a next gen follow up to Isolation from a studio that really knows what they're doing would be amazing.

I can’t believe they never made an Alien movie about the colony Newt was on and how it got overrun by aliens. Seems like a really good premise for an Alien movie (surely there’s a kid actor out there who looks like Newt).

Hasn’t been a good Alien movie since 3 (don’t @ me, it was good).
