PG Clippers: Dame Savings Time

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Sun Mar 10, 2024 9:30 pm

Clutch Dame in the 4th. Fun back and forth game, had hoped for an easier win.

I thought Dave Koehn was good the first time he did a TV game. I didn't think he was very good today. He misidentified players, missed some stuff, just not good overall ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Beat the Kings and salvage the road trip somewhat.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

One of those wins that's more annoying than satisfying.

Barely escaped. Gotta finish these games off strong and not get complacent.

Not the most convincing win, from a not-so-convincing team.

not a very satisfactory performance but there were some positive things

Dame played very well and his synergy with giannis seem improving. Giannis does not look at his best, maybe his Achilles bothers him

we shot 44.7% from 3 on 38 shots, there was a time we obliterated teams when we shot around 40%

A win is a win no matter how...

This would have been a really bad loss. Happy to come away with a W!

Dame/Giannis pick and roll is looking more and more deadly, especially these last two games. Giannis is setting much better screens allowing Dame more time to operate and make reads, and Dame's passing to Giannis is getting so much better. Nice to see it's constantly getting run in crunchtime.

I liked seeing Giannis defer to Dame more down the stretch. He was looking to get him the ball, and it paid off. Good win on the road today. The Clippers played very well.

Second unit lack of shot creation is painful. Really going to need Middleton next to Giannis in those minutes if we're going to get **** done in the playoffs.

On the plus side, Gallo finally made a three.

Y'all can be mad all you want. We didn't make that game harder than it was, the refs did.

They saw Kawhi and George were out and gave them a bunch of bs calls. Whenever you can beat the other team and the refs it's satisfying.

Happens quite a bit in the NBA, star players out and role players hard and well above their heads. There is a lot of unpredictability in these type of games, especially since teams play their best against the Bucks like any other elite team.

Only a matter of time before refs start wearing BetMGM or fanduel patches on their uniforms
