Game 67: Sixers at Bucks - 3/14/24 - 7:00 - BSWI

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Wed Mar 13, 2024 6:39 pm

The Sixers have scored 79 points in 2 straight games (and actually won the first one) so you know they will score 120+ in this one.

The clock is ticking James Khristian Middleton. Only 16 games left and there will be a minutes restriction. In the first 16 games of the season, while under a restriction, he averaged 18:45 minutes per game. His knee surgery was more serious than a sprained ankle certainly but he will still need to ramp up. And with 3 back to back's left he will at most play 13 games and that's if he's actually on the court tomorrow night. He'll be needed in round 1. As we know all too well round 2 is no guarantee. Initial injury report will be out later this afternoon.

Teams generally come out flat after a long road trip. But it can't be flatter than the Kings game.

Potential first round matchup depending on when/if Embiid returns.

Go Bucks.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I hope Embiid comes back in time for Sixers/Celtics first round playoff series as we sweep the Magic.

After the not perfect road trip, for the sake of this board, it's most definitely a MUST WIN.

Ugh. Was hoping the fact that he was upgraded the other day meant he'd come back at home Thursday. 15 games left after tomorrow.

Over dramatic but let me be

Khris missing this one is probably as close to being “done” as I will get during Giannis’s prime in a bucks uniform. This game is meaningless, and idk if there’s a number of games that they need to play together to be comfortable but this one felt like the perfect chance to work towards that. Feels like we’re waddling towards a first or second round exit and it’s nothing that can be done to stop it.

The Sixers are garbage so I’ll tune in against the suns and hope anybody other than Giannis comes to play.

Just get a medical exemption and get rid of Middleton (yes I know a sprained ankle won’t get that). One of the worst contracts in the league. Hes Michael Redd after he went to Phoenix at this point.

Every time Doc talks about Khris it reminds me of this scene from the criminally underrated "The Great White Hype"

You guys realize that Bobby Simmons was at the game the other night to pass the torch to Khris.

Care factor on this team is really low right now. If we can't show any consistency in the next few games we're done. We're not winning a seven game series if we can't turn around our D. We've let through 120+ points in 3 out of the last 4 games. Sixers definitely getting 100 points at least against this sieve of a team.

I had a pretty gnarly ankle sprain a while back and it took me almost eight months to walk without any discomfort and a whole year plus some change to go back to tennis. From what the doctors told me, it was the worst grade 2 ankle sprain they had ever seen.

Now, I know I am not a professional athlete and I did not have access to the best doctors in the world like Khris, but I get how bad it can get. Khris himself said in an interview that it's been a long process and it's been the single worst ankle sprain he's ever had.

The past few years, we've cemented ourselves as a target. Teams will give their all to play us and then go on to **** the bed in most other matches. That said, it should not be an excuse for how we've played in this road trip.
But I think we need to accept, we straight up are not a regular season team anymore. Really hope they can get up for the playoffs at least.

We havnt been a playoff team either the last 2 years. A team not getting to a conference finals the last 2 years is not a team that other teams get up for.

The 1st home game after a long road trip is usually ugly. Tonight could be an adventure

Sort of on a similar page but you want the team to be healthy and gelling the last 10 games to keep that momentum going into the post season.

Kate Middleton doesn't work this is not a critique of unpaid feminine roles but of the superfluous nature of the monarchy in these times I will not be taking any questions go Bucks

Based on overall performance and these blowout losses recently: I am convinced we are a worse team than last year.

What contributed to this deterioration the most?

Bud firing
Jrue trade & getting Dame
Brook getting slower
Something else (What?)

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
