PG Nets: Bucks Grind out Win

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Fri Mar 22, 2024 2:27 am

Bucks thought it was a 24 minute game but woke up down the stretch. Dame with 2 key steals in crunch time. Good win.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Props to these guys for pulling out the W in a tackle football game on the second night of a B2B.

Excellent Dame game. Think Giannis wasn't 100% this game, just more hesitant and passing out often with good position

Glad we pulled that one out. Not the best second half at all.

Dame's jumpers are so effortless at times. Good sign that he's creating more space lately and knocking them down.

Giannis got away with two crucial travels but they were calling touch fouls on us to get them back in the game while letting their defenders tackle us.

Besides that, good game.

Moral loss

A win is a win, but beating the Nets at home in the final stretch of the season shouldn't be that hard if you're a top contender.

Kind of cool to see Dame take over on both ends down the stretch though.

The league has gone too far in not calling fouls right?

It's uncanny how dame could be missing open threes but when the clock goes to clutch time.... Dame takes over... Assists, shots, steals.

I don't really care how they call it as long as it's reasonably consistent within the game.

League went from calling too many fouls to calling no fouls during the same season.

Most likely he was rusty and winded from not playing for a week.

That's why I was saying earlier today this would be a good game for Giannis to gets his legs and wind back before the big showdown with OKC on Sunday.

My stream kept cutting out in the end so I missed one, but I'm pretty sure the other one was a foul first but the refs were so used on not calling any fouls on the Nets manhandling Giannis that they missed their chance, lol.

Dame is an assassin but the only bummer in this game is Giannis still clearly not being right. I really wish we could lock up the 2 seed and give him like a week, week and a half off going into the playoffs.
