PG: Bucks Pound Thunder

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Mon Mar 25, 2024 1:19 am

Rare late season game with both teams at full strength and neither team on a B2B.

Great defense. This wasn't just "well they missed open looks". Sure there was some of that. But the defense was top notch.

Crowder looked good and having him off the bench is big.

Khris with his usual dribbling blunders but a nice triple double.

Dominated the paint in every way.

Very fun game.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Bucks with Khris >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Bucks without Khris

Thing about being the oldest team in the league is that these guys show up when they feel the need to, but man it's satisfying when they need to. Playoffs can't come soon enough

When we are healthy, we are a quality squadron.

Good old fashioned spanking. Did not expect it at all, obviously, but that was reminiscent of when the young Thunder played the Lakers in the playoffs in 2009, and got a "it's not your turn yet, young guns" type smackdown.

The Bucks at Fiserv have now blown the doors off the #1 seeds in both conferences + the defending champs lmao

Offense was rough early but defense held together strong to keep them in it and then the offense came and ran away. Good showing.

MVP head to head match up.

Any voter who watched this game.... how can you vote SHA over Giannis?

Giannis absolutely dominated. He's still the best player you fraud voters.

The most important thing I saw today was the bench squad grew the lead in a blow out for the first time ever.

Doc got the fellas to give a **** on defence so much that it didn't even matter that we shot pretty poorly and turned the ball over a fair bit.

Great scheme by Doc to get all the Thunder herded in to the lane and ruin their spacing. Easy contests all night.

Giannis is the MVP. SGA's bid died tonight.

Bit sad to see what has become of Hayward. Debateable if he's still an NBA quality player.

Dame shot didn't fall but he was distributing and playing tough D. He was really good on D and then 4th quarter came around and he hit everything.

Such a nice to have that Giannis has both Khris and Dame to take some load off. Neither has to go completely supernova as long as they can hit timely shots, play D and make great passes.

He won't really be able to put on much weight with that frame either. I expect him to be one of those guys who doesn't improve as much as you would think after their rookie season. OKC desperately needs size, they are toast in the playoffs this year

Outrebounded them by 20. Khris continues to out rebound better athletes by reading the bounce.

Also Gallo is completely out of the rotation, big development. Kinda was worried he would see playoff minutes

Why don't the big teams simply eat the little ones?
