Game 77: Raps at Bucks - 4/5/24 - 7:00 - OTA - Giannis/Bev Out

Can't wait for this one. Bucks looking for a triple header:

Lose to the 62 loss Wizards

Lose to the 50 loss Grizzlies AT HOME

And now Toronto comes in on a 15 game losing streak.

Bucks basketball at it's finest. You can get in the door for about $20. And then move to a better seat. There will be empties.

No idea who will or will not play. Playoffs start in 16-17 days. With a game with the Knicks and 2 with Orlando along with 1 with Boston and OKC coming up, we could easily slide down to 4 or 5. Although we do seem to play good teams well this year for the most part.

Raps currently have the 6th worst record. They owe their first to San Antonio but it's top 6 protected. They need to not drop to 7 and not have anyone jump over them at the lottery drawing. This pick is top 6 protected the next 3 years and then becomes a second rounder in 2026 if the Raps are top 6 all 3 years. They have every incentive to keep losing.

Having these games OTA is giving me a much needed break from this team. Perhaps some absence will cure my apathy.

Giannis should sit out. In fact he should sit out the rest of the regular season. These games don’t matter. Come back in the playoffs refreshed and ready to dominate.

Still 1.5 ahead of the Cavs and 2 up on the Magic. Ideally would like both to pass us and we end up #4 and play the Knicks. So sit everyone and lose this one too.

Doc is calling out their professionalism, Perk says it's mental. Anyone think that? I think we're just old, slow, injured and physically past our primes.

We looked pretty in our primes versus OKC, Minnesota, and Denver. I guess age hits you quick.

Combination of the end of the regular season grind and not having Dame and/or Khris. We've seen this team be plenty active recently. It's not entirely age.

The old, slow stuff only really shines to me with Brook in certain matchups (or Gallo :lol:

). Disinterested (mental) definitely, lack of urgency by the heaps, low IQ (maybe mental, maybe part of the lack of urgency). Still on the boat that we can compete with anyone in a seven game series but from what we're seeing currently it's going to take a drastic tune up. Hate picking up bad habits this close to go time though.

This team plays up and down to the competition and lately has not closed well. They need more movement in their offense and if they are not going to post Lopez or use him as a roller then his minutes needs to be reduced based on matchups. It's time for Giannis to lock in as a 5 with Crowder subbing early for Brook instead of Bobby. Let Brook play against the Second stringers more and save him for Embiid and Jokic. The other centers are too quick for him.

Nah. Crowder at the 4 isn't the answer. Middleton at the 4 is.

Don't think Doc is creative enough to do it though.

That's disappointing. I believe the Bucks have sold out every game since 2018.
