Some of you act like Giannis has been suiting up and it’s a complete disappointment to split the first two.

A top 5 MVP candidate might make a difference. No **** we’re not winning this series without him. What is going on.

Crowder with a 15 minute 0/3, - 21 matches the eye test and so shockingly bad.

He was single handidly tanking the entire team.

Give Beas an opportunity to get hot but other than him it’s got to be an 8 man rotation once Giannis is back.

Starters and Bobby/AJ/Pat

Splitting 1-1 to buy time for Giannis is huge. He’s desperately needed on Siakam and as a roaming paint defender.

The deep bench who were the pacers scout team should probably getting some run over the vets who provided nothing. Beas and Crowder set up like 30-0 runs combined by themselves.

Maybe Indiana killed us either way but I'd love to know how much they scored off our misses? That's gotta be the key thing to work on the rest of the way with or without Giannis. Gotta play smarter, take better shots and probably don't worry about the offensive glass?

soxperry wrote:It dawns on me tonight that it is complete malpractice for us to not have developed either Maarjon or Jackson Jr into at least a 15 minute playoff rotation guy.

At the same time, we would be so much better with Giannis getting 38 minutes that it almost doesn't even matter to pick the first two games apart.

Whatever

Just in terms of style of play and roster composition, the Pacers are a bad match up for the Bucks even with Giannis. I'd still have the Bucks strongly favored with Giannis, but the Bucks are the best possible matchup by far in the 1st round out of the top teams for Indy.

Hopefully, Giannis can play in game 3 because this could be another 1st round knockout if he doesn't.

All not lost but realistically we need Giannis to win this series.

I mean, imagine if you took Jokic off Denver, Shai off OKC etc. It's nice to have Dame who gives us a chance but he's not enough.

Credit to Indy too - shot making was too good for us tonight. We don't yet have an answer for Siakim across two games.

The most annoying thing is this Pacer's team is a mediocre #6 seed that doesn't really play any defense.

But they've punked the Bucks so many times this season they must feel like the bad boy Pistons when they play the Bucks.

Between the regular season and now after tonight, I can't even imagine how high their confidence is against the Bucks.

We aren’t winning without Gianni’s. They are a better team if he’s not playing

Pop's old man Spurs teams used to do exactly this. They prioritised getting back on D instead of gambling for offensive rebounds. Indy is a smaller team so I get the temptation but I'd much rather see us try cull their run and gun wherever possible.

Can’t trade tough baskets and pull ups for wide open 3’s and layups at the rim. We have no one other than dame that can get to the rim, that’s probably going to be our downfall.

The issue is that not having answers for guys like Siakam, Turner and Nembhard is unacceptable. Giannis or no Giannis.

Using individual +- to evaluate is

Dame was out there with a bunch of stiffs. You don't think he played great? 34/4/5/1 with 1 turnover.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Giannis or no Giannis, we’ve had the opposition stroll into the lane for layups and floaters all year long, whether game one or game 84.

Loss of Bud and loss of Jrue have taken their toll.
