Clippers Trade Idea

Post#1 » by lessthannick11 » Wed Apr 23, 2008 3:46 pm

What about a trade of
Bucks:
Mo Williams
Yi Jianlian
Dan Gadzuric

Clippers:
Elton Brand
2nd rd pick

Bucks:

Sessions/Ivey
Redd/ Bell
Mason/ Simmons / 1st round pick
Brand/ CV
Bogut/ Ruffin?

Now if we could just get rid of Redd and/or Simmons wed be in good shape...

I'd hate to see Yi blossom elsewhere, but I'd do this deal.

Doesn't Brand only have one season on his contract left?

I'd do it, but I'd want to extend Brands deal before this went down.

Speaking of the Clippers, would anyone take a flyer on Shaun Livingston? We probably could pry him away for relatively cheap and if he fully recovers from the knee injury, he could be a steal...

He's actually the guy on the Clippers I'd like the most.

Livingston would be ok, but Id be happy giving Sessions the keys and getting a backup like Duhon. Resigning Brand wouldnt be a necessity since if he bolts, we are clear of money for Hammond to play with, plus Boguts extensions kicks in the following season...

I really like Livingston and would take a flyer on him, but his injury was devastating and I am not sure about a successful comeback. It would be worth a chance, depending on the cost.

If this trade doesn't fly. How about Simmons for TT and Livingston?

Why not
Gadz, Mo and Yi for Kobe or Gadz, Mo and Yi to Orlando for Howard.
Why in the world would the Clippers make that trade?

I don't see why'd they'd do this. TT puts up similar production to Simmons and has a more favorable contract. On top of that, they wouldn't throw in Livingston as a filler, either.

I've been in favor of this deal as well, but only if Brand makes a committment to Milwaukee.

I'd do it. Problem is it will never happen.

I still like this deal:

Mobley
TT
#6

for

Redd

I would consider that. Even though we be over stocked at SF with Simmons,Dez,TT,Bell. But im sure Skiles will have alot of small ball so maybe Simmons at pf sometimes. I'm still hoping for a Brand trade here. Maybe we can get him for less then expected. Maybe a Mo,CV,#7 for Brand would do it?
